Hi This is Nikhil, I live in ahmedabad, India.
I purchased a Sony bravia TV KDL-43W800D in 2017. On 12th february 2021 am seeing lines covering tv display. I have registered a complaint in the Sony customer care and they assigned a technician within a week. My complaint no is 64994849. Technician who attend the service on seeing the TV straight away said that you have to replace the display.
I asked him for a problem and why this happened but he didn't have any answer. He doesn't know the issue on TV but clearly says that you have to change the display. I ask the estimated value for the same. He said I have to pay 21000 INR to replace the display.
I agreed with them to change the display after they took my TV to the Sony Service Center on Next day. After two days i got a call from sony service center, He said that your TV display is OK but some internal spare parts need to be replaced. And they estimate 17000 INR for the same with a one Year warranty for the replaced part.
Again I ask him why this issue occurs or why this part is damaged and what About Display. But they don't know the reason.
I paid the full amount to Sony for servicing my TV. I attached here the Invoice copy which they give me.
Now after 1.5 month the same problem repeats on TV. Again I registered a complaint on 14/04/2021 with the Sony service center. My Complaint No. is CCD ID : 65593069. Again the technician came to my home and checked the TV and said you have to change the display. and now they estimated 13000 INR for the same.
Again I ask the technician what the problem is and why it happens twice within two month. What about your last service and replaced part warranty or your service check up list.
I ask him what is the guarantee for this problem not happening again. But again they don't have any answer.

I want free service from Sony center this time and need a proper answer why this happened and what is the reason behind it.
Please look after it and do it as soon as possible.
30000 INR in two month for TV repair is too much for any common man in india.For the same amount I can purchase a brand new TV, and if in case I replace the display what is the guarantee?
I want to ask you why sony products (TV) don't last for 3-4 years. Charges of services are too high for a common man. As you know customer pay heavy amount for Sony TV when compared to any other brand and even after paying heavy amount this is what we get,
Please don't make us lose Trust on the Brand Sony.
