Hi,
I purchased this sony led tv (48w562d) on 19th may 2016. The tv started giving problems from 10th july 2017. I. E, there is no picture coming on tv, only blue screen appears when i switch on tv. I registered a complaint through sony customer care on 15th july 2017 (Request id:[protected]. The technician visited my home on 20th july 2017 and informed that the mother board has become malfunctioned due to hdmi input problem and needs to be replaced with the cost of rs 7950/- (Charged rs 354/- as visiting charges). As this is a full hd tv, what else we need to use for input source apart from hdmi, moreover i have a home audio system from sony itself. Also we have proper earthing and surge protector installed.
Being a regular customer of sony for more than 20 years. I did not expect this kind of poor quality product form sony. I do not understand how the mother board gets damaged just after one year. As this is a faulty product from sony and i have paid whopping rs 70000/- for it. It can not force customer to bear the mother board charges. So i request you to resolve the problem free of cost.
