Last week I went to Sony Service Centre in E-mall, Chandi Chowk, Kolkata as my Sony Xperia E died down suddenly. Without even diagnosing the problem the lady at the reception told me that I would have to pay 80% of the MRP +Diagnosis charges as Battery & Motherboard both needs to be replaced and it will be chargeable as my phone is bought from FlipKart. My Question is 1) How can they tell me MB & battery needs to be changed when they are saying they need to first diagnose to see? 2) I'm being treated like this just because I'm a Flip Kart customer?
Also they told me data will be lost just by looking at the phone.
I;m a extremely big fan of Sony products and I keep on buying Sony pods, headsets, Phones, camera etc. But after this experience I will never buy any Sony product and I will make sure to tell everyone I meet to never buy any Sony products as customers are looted and harassed like anything.
