I have purchased 43inches Sony tv model no. 43W772E in the year 2017 dt. 13/10/2017 from Reliance Retail Limited in Indore. All of a sudden, our sony tv has started showing vertical lines on the screen and is an eyesore to see that such a branded tv has given way in less than 3 years and nothing is being done to address this issue at your end even after making complaint on your toll free number.
At the time of purchase of such a valued television, it was a feast to the eyes, but now it's become an eyesore to see the tv, so as the brand of the tv.
I have also filed a complaint at the sony service centre for the issue i am facing. After visiting my house, representative of sony simply saying to replace the panel. They are not ready to listen anything and just keeps on saying that the panel need to be replaced for which they are demanding Rs. 18600. Now i doubt the quality of sony tv given to us.
Please resolve this issue at earliest before i take it to consumer court. I am really upset on sony service centre people. Need solution to the problem. If required, please replace complete tv after ascertaining that tv delivered to us was of inferior quality or else, we want the panel to be replaced free of cost.
Why shall we waste our money in buying such expensive product of a brand like sony when within 2 to 3 years these products fail to give us proper utility. There are many other local brands available with 2 to 3 years warranty that to half the rate in your comparison.
We have also observed so many complaints of the similar type against sony tv on various social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter etc.. This definitely point out that the quality of the sony products supplied to the customers are not upto the standards.
We hope you will seriously look into this matter at your end and do the needful and will not give us a chance to move further into this matter from our side.
