With great regret i am writing this email. I am new to sony mobiles. I was using other brand mobiles (2) for almost 3 years without any issue and as i wanted an official phone, i opted for sony xperia m4 aqua dual android phone after suggestion from my friend.
The phone was working fine for almost four months and later it started behaving abnormal. My usage was very low with the phone and there was no rough usage. As i use it for official messaging or calls only.
After four months, the first issue appeared with one of the sim slot, in which i was able to make call but not able to receive call, due to this issue. I lost a project worth 1.5 lac. As the client was not able to conduct me over sim one and sim one was behaving abnormally then i reported in sony service center, vadapalani, where they send for servicing and i did happened to use spare mobile for 3 days.
Again, after a month the same problem raised and they replaced the mother board. So, that was the second time i was visiting service center within 6 months from the date of purchase.
So, after a month yesterday, my camera stopped working, i visited service center again and they updated software. Again today (19th of july) the same problem happened again and now i have send the phone to service center again.
Its, very frustrating experience i am facing with sony, i am an o. S and android developer myself and i am pretty sure that the phone is not behaving properly. Now, that again i have send my phone for service center. I need my phone to be replaced. I need a new one, i am fed up visiting service center again and again (Im coming there in between my office hours). Its a very frustrating really, now i have five months warranty period left, i am not sure what i will be doing if the same issues happen after warranty period. I am a first time user of sony mobile.
After purchasing the phone worth 19, 000 /- i am now experiencing the pain of visiting service center very often, i know the the job sheets don't tell the story of software updates done in vadapalani service center. Still,
I am attaching the job number of each complaints below. I was told that you are the one who can give an official reply. So i am placing my request to replace my phone.
