I bought a LED in December, 2013 and have not being using the TV much since December, 2014. However, suddenly the TV stopped working in the beginning of March, 2015. I registered a complaint with the customer service people and they send a guy to check the TV and he charged me 250 rupees and said the K board is to be replaced and it will cost 6500 rupees. However, he was not able to tell why it stopped working out of the blue and secondly even if I get the board replaced I will get a warranty of just 3 months.
First thing that comes is that Sony engineers are so incapable that they can't detect why something is not working and just replace a part and make a customer pay.
I feel, I made a mistake of buying a Sony LED TV, since my other LCD and LED's from other companies are working absolutely fine with no complain from past couple of years. This TV from Sony which is not being used much is costing me heavens and on top of that incapable engineer's from Sony are adding fuel to fire by not being able to tell why something which is so costly stopped working and just want me to get it replaced.
Probably should not buy anything from Sony in future and also make my friends and family be aware of it
