I have bought a phone named as Sony Experia ZL 1.5 years back. And I am clearlu saying that I have taken a good care of the phone throughout my use with the phone. And all of a sudden a month back the phone starting switching off automatically even in the fully charged condition of the battery. The phone gets switched of without any reason and the phone could be used only when it is kept for charhing. And it could not be used by any other means.
So by the next day I went a authorised sony service center, and told and discussed with the service centre people in detail about the problem in my phone. And then, they informed me that this Z series of the phone's could not be repaired by any way of servicing or repairing process, and they even said that, they don't even have the authority to open the phone and go through the internal hardware of the phone, which is the rule given by the Sony Company itself.
And then informed me that, this phone can only be replaced and could not be repaired by any Means.
Ok, then I asked about the replacing process.
Then they told me about the replacing process, that is, I have to pay the 50% of the amount of the current Max retail Price of the phone in the market.
Then the total cost of the phone will be
26200 + 14000 = 40200 INR
This is not fair for a buyer for a simple smart phone of Rs. 40200.
This is the service which is given to the customer by an International Company.
And no one informed me about this when I went to buy the phone 1.5 years back.
A phone which gets defective automatically for no reason and could not be repaired by the company service centre itself.
What a worst company.
I will never buy any sony product any more.
