Sony India — Wrong information given by customer care & local installation agency

I buy a 24 inches LED Tv Model No KLV-24R402A on 09/02/2014. I wanted this tv as my desktop monitor, but customer care & local instolation agency said that this tv cannot make as a monitor. I said that it has HDMI slot so it became as a tv or monitor. But they repetedly said that it cannot be possible.But I make this tv as a monitor. So I hearted that Sony employe does not know about ther products. How could they belongs on this service. It is shame fore your company.
