I had purchased a Sony XPERIA E3 DUAL, Bill # KA-BLR[protected], Bill Date 11.11.2014, from a reputed Online store Amazon.in. On 16th of October 2015 around 2 P.M. the power button of the phone not working. Though my residence is just 4-5 K.M. distance from the Sony Authorized Service centre (TEKNOPLAZA), I took the phone to the centre around 5.30 P.M. on the same day. They told me to leave the phone there and they will inform me latter. I left the phone with them (Ticket Id: [protected], Job No: W[protected] after doing all the formalities. On 17th October 24, 2015 around 4 P.M. I got a call from the service centre that there was a damage in the main board of the phone, so they need to change the main board, And they don’t provide me the warranty due to the damage was caused by water. When I visit at the service center on 19th October 24, 2015, they show me some green things inside the phone near charger point. I argued with them that the phone never got any water. And the damage was not caused by water. But they show me some approval requirements in there system that they didn’t get the approval for warranty. So I came back with the phone after doing all the formalities. I am using sony mobile from last 7 years. This is my 4th sony mobile. I never got such an issue with sony phone. And I never misuse the handset. But this time I think Sony is cheating with me. My question is if the damage caused by water then how come all other functions are working perfectly except only the power button? I think this type of issue comes only because sony don’t want to provide warranty intentionally. They are cheating with me. Was this information helpful? |
