[Resolved] Sony Mobile — Replacing handset with refurbished instead of new | |||
Hello Sir/Ma'am, I purchased a Sony Xperia ZL mobile on 15 Jan 2014 and after 7 days it started creating some charging problem then I went to service center, at that time they replaced the handset with a new one. Now after about 6 months I faced the same problem with this handset. I went to service center and they said that we can not repair this so we will keep this and will give you another handset. Then they said that Xperia ZL is not available so you will be getting Xperia Z and I agreed to them. They asked me it will take 7 to 10 days to process this, then I went to service center after 7 days, there I came to know that the company is giving me a refurbished handset not the new one. I refused to accept that and asked them to give a new handset or repair my handset. Then they said this is not possible you will be getting a refurbished handset only. Then I asked them to show me this thing in the warranty policy of Sony Xperia mobile, they told me that you can talk to customer support as well this is our policy we can not give new handset. After that I checked the warranty policy on the Sony Xperia website and it was clearly mentioned "THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, OTHER THAN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY." It's been more than 15 days, I have talked to customer support as well and they are not accepting it. Please help me in resolving this matter.
