Sony - Brand So Big, Service So small
I have bought Xperia L a year back and recently faced a issue with the Flash. I took it to Malleshwaram, Bangalore authorized service center. They signed a consent form as they deducted it was a liquid damage. There is no chance that a liquid can enter the mobile. But still when they showed the indicator, i had to agree. They informed me that if there is a need to change any part, they will give me a call. Next day i wait and there is no call. In early afternoon I call to the service center's landline . They ask for a minute and give no response for next 10 min. I had to cut the and call again. Again they don't return back after asking a minute. On the third attempt, I had an conversation where i get to know that my motherboard should be changed. I refused to change any part as the amount was very large. I collect my mobile and come home to insert my sim and start using it. For my unfortunate, the mobile is not switching on. I call the service center and history repeats. They make me wait for about 10 min and then my 3rd attempt to call, they claim that the consent form was signed and they were not responsible for the same. I asked them my curious question and the lady talking to me talks rude with no respect and temper. I had never asked them to repair or do any changes to my mobile. At the end of the conversation, they hang the phone on my face saying "IF YOU WANT COME HERE OR LEAVE IT". I called up again and this time a man talks to me and he himself said that the mobile was working when is disassembled and assembled back. Also when i questioned about the illogical answers given by that female, he supports her for the behaviour. I was fed up and had to end my conversation. I was so depressed and the amount paid was not small. Moreover the mobile was gifted by my husband and I had emotional attachment with it. Later after few hours, i tried to switch on the mobile and it was ON . But I see the screen layout, navigation, setting options everything is changed. Sometime my mobile hangs and some time the functionalities doesnt work. If the service center had not done anything on my mobile, how is it possible that my mobile software is changed so much?? I also feel that the mobile is not performing as before. We buy mobiles seeing the brand and trust the authorized mobile service center. We buy costly mobile doesn't mean we have money to buy another one. We value for everything we buy as we pay our hard earned money. On the day i went to receive my mobile from the service center, I saw the staff behaving rude to a lady who was cross questioning them on the quality and possibilities of the damage. At one point they leave her abandon in the frontdesk and all the service center's employees start doing their work or go inside without even answering her. She stands in front of the front-desk and screams and call the employee to answer. This is the way to behave. I am extremely disappointed with their behavior. Was this information helpful? |
