1 year and 11 months back, i was so proud to own a Sony LED 40" by paying a hefty 60k. Today, i regret why i bought a Sony product. The TV is not even 2 years old, but 80% of the screen is filled with green and pink lines. The service provider told to change the whole panel and might cost around 8k to 10+k. Is that seriously what Sony can offer? Selling TV that are very expensive, by promising that the TV will work without any issues at least for 5+ years. What's the point of buying such a product where i need to again spend 10+k to service, no guarantee the problem will not arise again.
Now, i get the point why you people give just one year warranty, so that you guys can play the safe game ?
