Spectranet — Informational - no more public ip for now for pune | |||||
This is not a true complaint. This is an informational post for the benefit of Internet users. Spectranet the Amazing Internet service provider has at least for now stopped offering Public IPs to its Pune home customers. The advantage of Public IP was that you could access your PC over the Internet. Now what they are offering is an IP address that is behind NAT, it's a Private IP. So anyone interested to avail an Internet connection with Public IPv4 address, look elsewhere. No action is needed from the service provider. Mine is a prepaid policy and I'm not using spectranet since march but I'm still receiving bills.
