I am Sudesh Kumar Jha, holder of Nepal Passport no. BA0009592. I am writing to complain about my travel from Singapore to Delhi by Sri Lankan airlines flight UL307 from Singapore (14th Oct 2025). I arrived at check-in counter on time. The counter issued my boarding pass, luggage tags. while weighing my hand carry bags, it was weighted 2-3kg more weight than allowed and they want me pay for it but I told them that I will dispose-off extra weight in dustbin. but the staff called the senior and I tried explain her if she can allow it but she suddenly making excuse of my travel from China to Singapore before and asking for India visa which is not needed to fly from Singapore, they told that India immigration informed them that its needed but didn’t give anything in writing or on record, just a piece of paper with some information about India visa requirement when travelling from China but they misinterpreted it. Please find attached the copy of paper which they had given for not allowing me to get boarding pass. I tried to convince them but they teared off my boarding pass, luggage tags and take out my luggage out and denied giving boarding pass. I tried to request and seek assistance from help desk but nobody really tried to help. the counter staff was very rude, Stubben, arrogant and tortured me and let me not board flight and my ticket is gone and so is the money and so much trouble for me and my family back in India. I called the ticketing agency trip.com to help but they also did not help and asking to buy new ticket. I felt cheated, betrayed, tortured and loose lot of money and mental peace. It was very bad to see in a place like Singapore also, for such an injustice, no body tried to help. when I tried to record video, they took my mobile and deleted video and threatened to call the police. it’s like a crime to me and so much injustice, I do not know to whom complain about and make the concerned pay for my losses and mental stress. You can check the CCTV record for whole incident. I hope and wish some concerned authority can take the matter seriously and stop such cheating to others as well. I had travelled to India from Singapore in past also but it never happened like this. After this I bought new tickets for Air India flight AI2116 and travelled to Delhi same day in evening flight without any issue, which also proves that I was right and there is no such rule.
