State Bank Of India — Amount deducted but ATM has not dispensed the amount | |||
Dear Sir / Madam, My name is Chandrashekar S from Hyderabad. I used my ATM card on Sunday 15-Feb-2015 to withdraw Rs. 5000 and received a message (printed receipt) stating that the transaction is not processed as the server seemed to have been down. Within no time I received an SMS and also when I checked my account on the net, I was shocked to see that the amount has been debited from my account. I have raised the complaint twice and even written to the AGM of SBI and they seem to be not only rude (as if it is their money) but also seem to be not really concerned about these kinds of issues. I have lodged a complaint where I have my account and yet the amount is not reverted/ credited to my account as yet. As a customer can I withdraw the amount 1. without having the correct balance 2. in any other way that is not legal I feel that this is a fraud/ illegal method that SBI is following and that too being a nationalized bank seems to give a feeling that no action can be taken against this bank, and that is how the bank officials talked when I tried to explain to them.
