To The State Bank of India Subject : Complaint against Corruption and Absurd behaviour of Banking Officer Mr. N.K. Thakur Deputy Manager Accounts, SBI, Supaul Main Branch Bihar Dear Sir/Madam I have visited SBI Supaul, Bihar Main Branch on 15th of March between 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM . I have a Savings Account in SBI Main Branch Supaul Bihar . I stay in Bangalore and my native place is Sukhpur, Supaul . I don’t often visit my native I came here after many years. I coudn't submitted my KYC form because I was not here in town . My account became inactive and I was unable to do any transaction from my account . My ATM Card is also inactive . On above mentioned time and date I went to SBI Supaul main branch and I asked banking staffs / officers to help me to activate my account but surprisingly most of officers cabin was looked including Branch Manager's Mr. Vikash . I saw everything was very unorganized and most of staffs were very arrogant . I went to other counters and explained my situation but they said go and meet Account officer he sits in ground floor . I went there and requested Mr. N.K.Thakur to help me with this problem firstly he told me go outside and wait . I was waiting after half an hour I went again and requested Mr. Thakur . He said he can help but he want 200/- (two hundred) rupees cash for that. I asked him for a receipt he said no receipt he will given . I said why I should give money to him that is his job and bank is paying him for that . He started shouting on me. He abused me and he has used absurd language . His behaviour was very rude, unprofessional and unaccepted from any Banking Officer . He told me get out from Bank otherwise he will call cops to arrest me saying that I am robber . I went to first floor and checked one person was there in cabin I explained everything to him he again asked me to go and meet Mr. Thakur . I came to ground floor again and saw a board where Mr. Sujit Guha’s Chef Manager’s no was displayed[protected] . I thought let him call and inform everything. I called him one lady attended the call and informed this is wrong no and that was some other agency . I was surprised . How can a Bank display wrong no . That was really unaccepted . Again I saw Branch Manager's Mr. Vikash's no which was also displayed on same board and called him and informed everything and complained about Mr. Thakur’s misbehaviour. He told me he is not there in Bank and outside attending a meeting .He said he will speak to another officer Mr. Pushkar (Field Officer ). He will will help . After my call Mr. Pushkar came and requested to sit in his cabin. I explained him my problem. He asked me for supporting documents which I was carrying with me . I filled a form and submitted photocopy of ID and PAN card, within few minutes he did everything and told link is fail so he will update soon in system . Next day I had flight for Bangalore so I rushed to sukhpur and told him to mail me and update me status. What I observed that your SBI Supaul branch was very unorganized, most of staffs are not ready to talk to customers . They are pampered and habituated to hear “BABU” “SARKAR” “MALIK” “SIR” they misbehave with poor villagers who come to Bank for Banking . They are very unprofessional, most of the time they use absurd or rude language with customers . I request you take strict action against Mr. N.K. Thakur, Deputy Manager Accounts So that that will become a lesson to other staffs . I feel Banking services should be more public friendly, clean and professional specially in villages if we really want a developed nation . I am looking forward to hear from you soon . sir iam sanjay mehta my account number-[protected], branch kariapatty supaul, 5000 ka chq uco benk supaul ka hai, maine[protected] ko apne khate mai chque dala hun jo abhi tak clear nahi hui jab bhi branch jata hun koi bahana laga ke wapas bhej dete hai so pls mere samasya ka samadhan karwaea
