State Bank Of India [SBI] — Credit to Linked Account of Refund of Double Payment | |||||
I had booked an Advertisement through Releasemyad.com website. However, while releasing the payment using my Maestro Debit Card Number[protected]India - State Bank Cash), the amount of Indian Rupees 16003 was debited twice. The firm Releasemyad.com was requested to refund the amount, which they claim to have done and have given the following remarks: This is an update regarding your ad (Ad Id:1304204). We have re-verfied from our payment partners that the refund has been processed sucessfully for this transaction. They have informed us that as your card is Maestro Card therefore no Acknowledgement Reference Number (# ARN No.) will be generated. In case you still did not receive the refund, please get a mail from your card's customer service mentioning that the amount not credited to cardholder account. After which, our payment partners will take up the issue internally. It is requested that the same may be got checked with reference to this Maestro Card and amount if received be credited to the linked account.
