State Bank Of India [SBI] — replacement debit card request not being processed correctly even after submitting complaint | |||||
My debit card was not working at any of the atm machines and hence i had visited the sbi jawahar nagar barnch on 19th november 2017 for a resoltion. The branch manager told me that the debit card had expired and as advised i had submitted the request for replacement debit card, in which it was mentioned that i require visa debit card having international transaction facility enabled. The card was not provided even after 10days and hence i had to revisit the sbi branch again on 30th november 2017. On enquiring the status of replacement card request, the single window operator told me that the request got cancelled. He didn't give me any proper reason and asked me to submit another request for replacement card. Within 10days, a replacement card was received via post which had spelled my name incorrectly. Frustrated with the low rating service, i had to submit a complaint against this irresponsible attitude of the single window operator. In response to my complaint number: [protected], i had recieved a rupay debit card via postal service which mentioned that it is valid only in india. This debit card does not serve my purpose and hence is of no use to me. It is very disappointing to see the negligence shown towards processing the customer's requests. Hence i had submitted another complaint under reference [protected]. But there has been no resolution provided fo this complaint. I have not been able to do any transactions via atm for about 3months now. I want the bank to issue me new replacement visa international debit card with the correct details at the earliest without making me visit the bank bank again.
