Sterling Holidays — Non Refund of amount made on Cancellation of Membership | |||
I had taken Sterling Holidays package in the Name of my Husband Mr.Atul Kadam and we paid Rs.26, 856.00 made on SBI Credit Card XX0461 at STERLING HOLIDAY on 27 Jan 15 . However, within 20 days by realizing that the Company is fufilling there promises, We had send a mail on 16.2.2015 for Cancellation of membership and refund the amount paid on 27.1.2015. As, I am going through there Cancellation Policy, it clearly Mentioned that any Cancellation of Policy between11-60 days from the date of Policy taken, 25% of the amount will be deducted and balance 75% will be Refeunded with 60 days. Howver, when we send the Mail for Cancellation we got following reply from them; From: Sterling Holidays Date: Fri, Mar 13, 2015 at 12:32 PM Subject: Re: Reference to your Customer ID:1218723 [ ref:_00D301GMTQ._500a0quhy5:ref ] To: "[protected]@gmail.com" Dear Mr. Kadam, Greetings from Sterling Holidays! We have received your letter for cancellation of your membership and are concerned that you wish to opt out of your membership. We regret to inform you that as per the terms of your membership there would be no refund towards cancellation of your membership. In view of the large amount you stand to lose, we once again urge you to reconsider your decision to cancel the membership. Should you at any time in future, reconsider your decision, we shall be happy to welcome you back to the Sterling family. In case of any further queries, please do not hesitate to get back to us.
