Sterling Holidays Resorts — with false promises membership sold to me and now denying refund

My name is raj kumar mishra. I regret to say that we had a lot of excitements the moment we chose sterling holidays as our holidays host. But now we feel sorry and cheated by the staffs of sterling holidays as well as sterling holidays itself.

It all started as we were looking for some holiday options on internet as we were planning our vacations in rajasthan this year and contacted club mahindra and sterling holidays both. It was sheer unfortunate that mr. Mohammad hussain (Mob. No.: +[protected] from sterling holidays, andheri east, mumbai came to our place on 25th august 2019 before club mahindra. He offered us a lucrative deal for the membership. And offered so many promises such as 4 night 5 days trial holidays, pickup and drop for trail holidays, free food for trail holidays, less maintenance and no maintenance for the first year, food vouchers over 20, 000 /-, less emi options and many more. Later we come to know those were fake ones as his attitude towards those promises changed. Also, he said within 3 days we will get our membership code and then he will book our rajasthan trip in a day only. We were paying 15% of the membership and it was him only that convinced us to pay 25% of membership to quick start our facilities. He also said that this year we need not to pay our maintenance and need to pay next year onwards. Also said, after paying our first emi that is 18, 478/-, i can enjoy my membership facilities. Also, i can reduce my emi after contacting my relationship manager. He only convinced us that the plan he offered, is the best suited plan for us as my daughter is just 2 years. We should not go for bigger plans. Later after 4-5 year we can change it. So it was his suggestion only to stick with this plan. From day 1 only when he entered in my place he knew our holiday destinations. It was a trip for rajasthan places that he suggested to book were jaipur, sariska, udaipur, jaisalmer and mount abu. He never shared any process, he always said, for any query come to me and i will do the rest. Even now he is saying the same.

We paid rupees 41, 161 through card on 25th august 2019, rupees 20, 000/- on 05th september 2019 and rupees 7, 740/- on 07th september 2019 though card only.in total, i paid rupees 68, 901/-. After our first payment only he said within 3 days our membership would be active and very next day he will book all the locations. But as the days were passing he started ignoring and fooling us. Our membership activated on 18th september 2019. The moment we received the message for membership, we shared the membership id to hussain. He said he will start the booking. But then we saw his real face, we started following up for the bookings as the days were passing fast and it was more than a month now. We had to book our travel options as well. But he did nothing, after following so many days, he started ignoring our calls, till date we do not have formally appointed relationship manager. No one contacted us for this, even for membership. We got frustrated as we had just one point of contact. Even one day after so many follow-ups, on 2nd october 2019, he did not picked up my calls, rather he sent text on whatsapp that he has booked the locations, snap attached. But today is 13 november 2019, i did not receive any confirmation. We asked hussain for his senior's contact number but he ignored. As we were asked him for this so many times. He shared tejas's number and told us he is his senior manager. But after tejas response and attitude, later we come to know that he is just a tele caller. After searching so much, i got imran's contact number (+[protected], as per him, he is hussain's senior. I talked to him and narrated the whole story. He said he would appoint some one in place of hussain, also arrange someone to resolve my query. And convinced me to fulfill the promises offered by hussain. But to my surprise nothing happened. No one contacted me, no one resolved my query. I contacted sterling holidays office located in andheri east, nothing happened. I contacted chennai office, but to my surprise, nothing happened here as well. I waited more than 2 months, followed them up for these many months. Earlier they started that we are just 3 locations in rajasthan, we can give you booking for 3 locations only, we need to book rci resorts but you have to 60% first. After a point, having so many false promises by hussain and imran, i was ready for that 3 location also. But then they started saying they are overbooked now. Now, they are telling me to book some other location. It was then i started recording their calls as they were fooling me up. I have all the recordings and chat's snap of hussain and imran. If sterling holidays wants, i can share these with them. Some of the snaps of chat attached in the mail.

Now, i am reached a point, where i just need my money to be refunded. I told mohammad hussain more than 100 times now to cancel my membership and 100% percent refund. He is not responding, imran is not picking up my calls. Imran messaged me now to mail on [protected]@sterlingholidays.com.

If this is a kind of service sterling holidays is offering, i would like to cancel my booking and want my 100% refund. I have already lodged one complain in sahar police station, andheri east, mumbai against mohammad hussain and imran for cheating. And now planning to move to consumer forum against sterling holidays and mohammad hussain and imran for the fraud done by them and the kind of mental torture and frustration.

At the end, i raised this issue to sterling holidays, by calling them on their chennai office. They suggested me to mail them on [protected]@sterlingholidays.com. On 13 november 2019, i wrote an email to them for cancel my membership and refund my 100% amount stating the fraud done by mohammad hussain (+[protected] and getting no help from imran khan (+[protected], tejas (+[protected] and even from my relationship manager tarkesh yadav (+[protected].
I attached all the chat snaps and voice call recording that i had to them. The chats clearly showing the ignorance and false commitment from mohammad hussain. Still on 25 november 2019, karthikeyan from sterling holidays who is looking in to the issue, told me to submit the proof that stat commitment of full refund by the person.

I am not an astrologer, that i would have realised at the time of membership booking that sterling is going to cheat, otherwise i would have recorded everything.in voice calls also, he is clearly making making false commitments. This is absolutely ridiculous. They are telling me they would cancel the membership and i would get nothing. I had not taken this membership for their enjoyments, i wanted my bookings, that i never get. So, they must refund my money. Please help to get my amount refunded.
