There are stray dogs in our J P Nagar 5th phase, Ramanna Road, Bangalore.The dogs keep barking following us, we have small kid with us.how do we safeguard ourselves from the dogs.we try to save ourselves or our children.i request the Bangalore government to look into this.please take care of your citizens.thank you.

Stray Dogs — Stray dogs in Mannu Ganj

Dear Sir,

we Stay in Mannu Ganj colony Dehradun, there are 2 stray dogs in our street which people claim to be their dogs. if somebody enters the street the do not let them enter and one of them bites as well. Last time some people from Municipal corporation had come and taken the dog but they left the dog on the basis of the request of the neighbor who claimed to be their dog. but what is the point in taking those dogs and leaving them again when they are problem for other. there is a marriage ceremony in our house on 29th Apr. and would request you to to please look int o the matter and take a immediate action against those people who claim it to be their dogs and leave the in the street and take the dogs away as we do not want them to create any in nuisance the occasion by biting or tearing clothes.

Please look into the matter and immediate action is appreciated.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I live in Vadodara at 'Novino - Tarsali Road, Makarpura'. My house is in the society named 'Ashok Vatika Society & the house no.is A-62. There are 4 stray dogs & 3 puppies in my society who create havoc with their shrill noise in the night. Also they around my house giving us embarrassment. There is no fix time to make the area dirty. We are fed up with this nuisance created by them.
I hope this consumer forum will help me in my problems.

A STRAY MAD Dog — A STRAY MAD Dog Bite more than 50 People

Hello Team,

I am Vandana Thakur Resident H.N-1136, Sec-5, Mohan Meakin Society, Vasundhra Ghaziabad.
I want to highlight a Issue there is a MAD Stray Dog inMy society which has bite More than 50 People over a Period of Time. Three of my Family Members including me got bite. No one in my Society can go out because of this dog, Kids afraid of going out. We did complaint to the Society Members but of no use.
Please help us ASAP, as there are small kids and in summer they want to Play outside which is not Possible because of that dog.

I am a resident of Syndicate bank colony, arakere in bannerghatta road. Stray dogs in this locality seems to have multiplied in the past 2 years. It is almost impossible to walk on the road late in the night or early in the morning without being attacked by these dogs. There are many kids in this locality & i am worried thay might be attacked someday. I hope BBMP authorities take a notice of this and provide relief to the residents & kids in this area.

We are Senior citizens living in the resident no.366,11th cross,8th Main,
2nd Block,Jayanagar,Bangalore - 560011.A three floor house is being constructed on the site adjacent to our residence.Every night about ten stray dogs come near this place and make lot of noise disturbing the people from sleep.Besides this they jump from that house onto our house and create lot of nuisance. Many people find it difficult to walk in the roads during early morning and night.
I request you to take immediate action so that we old people can live in peace during night times.

Stray Dogs — Stray Dog menace

West Venkatapuram Alwal,Secunderbad-500015,Has become a very scary locality with an increasing number of stray dogs. These dogs are creating a lot of trouble the residents of Road no-8,9,10,11. These dogs chase any passerby who passes from front of it. Even being a death trap for the kids who play around..etc. The nuisance made by these dog is so high that the residents of these localities are living with fear of Dog Bites as its a threat to Life.Many complaints have been given,but the dog catchers never did the needed.Hence, I Request the GHMC authorities to Kindly look through this issue and do the needful help.

Stray Dogs/Rabies/attacking — Stray dogs attacking Maninagar Society, Manjalpur, Vadodara

Stray dogs are attacking/harrassing/biting/barking/running after people & kids in Maninagar Society, Manjalpur, Vadodara 390011. Surprisingly in past few years the population of stray dogs have increased so much in the society and they are every where in a group, they are attacking in groups/harassing the residents & biting the public walking on streets. I know some kids have stopped going to tuition or out as the dogs run after them. These dogs ARE NOT STERILIZED AGAINST RABIES. I fear for the community in our area for their safety & diseases.

Stray dog — Diseased Stray Dog

There is stray dog in our society (Navakalpataru CHS mithbunder road thane east). The dog is sick and sits on the front door of residents. It has disease spreading plague like insects on its body and this has become a menace for the residents. The local animal welfare just comes and treats the dog but doesnt take it away. We want immediate action on this. The dog has to be taken away from this locality so that it doesnt spread diseases.

Ours is an residential area, there are lot of houses coming up, we have around 20 to 25 stray dogs and 10 -15 pigs which roam in our street & create lot of trouble for people who move in the street. we are not able to move on the road freely due to this stray dogs. The peoples who travel in vehicle are afraid of stray dogs. It creates nuisance in day & night.

Stray Dogs — The stray dogs are multiplying their number at very faster rate

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Shivani would like to bring your kind attention on the problem of stray dogs in our locality-K Block, Jail Road, Tilak Nagar. There are so many mad street dogs in this colony because of them it is very difficult to take step out from our houses especially at night. These dogs are biting people walking in parks also. MCD listed numbers never responds. The stray dogs are multiplying their number at very faster rate. Stray dogs have becomes a cause of serious causalities and require serious attention on immediate basis.
I urge you to pay attention on my complaint and send the MCD street dog catcher team in this area so that we get rid of this problem soon. Hope our hard earned tax pay money really works by getting MCD services in time.

Individual — Dog Owner creating nuisance through vaccinated Dogs

Sir, I am from Assam.. I couldn't find a place to complain so i m requesting u to take a step.. My Neighbor has been taming stray dogs and i m fine with it.. The owner always use to bring out the dog and makes him do the toilet near my surroundings..moreover he says its my wish to make my Dog poo anywhere he likes..

Street dog menace
I stay at Borivali [w ], at Shivsagr
Co. Op. Hsg. Soc. Nr Vijay sales Rambaug lane, the entire campus is
surrouded by 10-15 stray dogs, who not only bark at day & night time
but also at the time of dawn making us unable to sleep, they bark at
the complex residents & run after small children petrifying them
.Among these dogs three dogs enters our society premises, my child has
been attack 4 times till now, last time I had to take him to the
doctor .He was attack by three dogs one if them came to bite him but by
god grace his tuition bag came in his mouth, I have given written
complaint in our society office but no action has been taken .My son is
really scared to go out now . The dogs engage in fighting amongst
themselves whole day and cause nuisance to everyone.Young school going
kids are worst affected.The dogs chase all two wheeler riders and many
minor accidents have taken place due to this.

During nights the dogs engage in bitter fights over territory and we are
not able to sleep peacefully even for a few hours.PeoplE returning home
late live in fear of these dogs. They are increasing in numbers by
giving birth to new borns.


Please take immediate action against this before any major accident
happens.I request the authority to take immediate measure to eliminate
them from our society and area
