Greetings!

I am a resident of 109, Model Basti, Filmistan, Gate No.6 (Radha
Kishan Marg), Lane next to Grand Photo Studio. Since last many months
the residents of our colony are getting disturbed and terrorized by the
unnecessary barking, howling, fights, dog bites, damaging of personal
properties (like cars/scooters/bikes) by the street/stray dogs. There
are 15-20 dogs who create nuisance all the day long and even in the
nights. They roam around freely in the lane endangering the security of
our children. Few children have already faced the brunt of dog bite due
to these stray dogs. To let you know more they scratch
paint/covers/seats of scooters/bikes and cars.

It is a big big nuisance and to stop this it is requested you to
please send a team to catch these unwanted creatures as soon as
possible. It is really crossing the limits. Hoping for an immediate
action in this regard.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I work in kolkata Airport, There are 6-7 dogs at the front road/path of staff entry gate no. 1 . The dogs literally pouce over any passing cycle/ motor bike . This menace is going on for more than a month. I face problem, as I travel by my yo- bike. The whole group is present at the location between 7 pm to 9 pm.
Sir, it will be very kind of you if an early action is taken.

I am an resident of Mira road. which is in Mumbai. My complain is against these 10-15 street dogs. The whole society is irritated because of these stray dogs. They keep on barking the whole night...And that too they bark by forming a group. The area kids are also scared to play there. I would appreciate if you could take a strict action and send dog squads to take them away.
Please take some action as soon as possible, because living here is getting impossible

Stray Dogs — Dangerous stray dogs

Dear Sir,
There are lot of stray dogs in the street going towards Shilpitha splendor appartments, it has become impossible to cross this street by walk, in night times many people got attacked by these dogs. To go to the sevice lane we have to cross this street full of stray dogs. This is the only way to reach the apparment as there is no other alternative street. Daily we have to walk through this street. Major problem is for Kids and elders, as they cannot pass by this street by walk, we have to wait for some help like any neighbour's vehicle to cross this lane.
Please it would be really helpful for the residents if these dogs are cought and taken to shelter. We all will be highly thankful for this service..
Moreover few dogs are injured which mght lead to infections for all the people.

Stray Dogs — Increased number of Stray dog

I am a resident of Asbestos colony, Karkhana, Secunderabad. Of late, the number of stray dogs in our colony have increased.There are about 10-12 stray dogs in our street alone. They are entering our house premisis when not noticed. As it is a residential colony, many of the children (including infants) play outside our houses but these stray dogs are posing a threat especially to little children. Many times, we read in the news papers about pack of stray dogs attacking and injuring infants and children. We request the concerned authorities to take action before any such incidents take place. There was a group lead by concerned authority 2 months back who came to catch the dogs but we could find the dogs again in a week or so.
I thank the authorities in advance for initiating action against possible danger.

Stray Dogs — Beaten Badly By Stray dog

Dear Sir, This is to inform you that on Saturday evening by around 8.30pm ( Location- Sion East opposite Sion police beat opposite Santosh bhavan hotel ) i was chased on motorcycle by street dogs & one black dog beaten my leg badly so now I'm on complete rest & undergoing treatment & not able to go to office also so please check with this matter because I don't want that dogs to bite any one else especially kids and if possible give them rabies injection so that it wont effect any one even if they bite. Stray Dogs — Barking & biting by stray dogs

I am resident of Old Char Chaman, Karnal- 132001, Haryana. I want to register a complaint regarding the stray dogs living in our street, from last 10-15 days both the stray dogs bite 7 persons out of 7, 4 people are from our street. We live in fear from last 10-15 days.Kindly catch both the stray dogs.

This is to inform you that number of healthy and ferocious stray dogs are moving in a group in N14 lane, today in the morning while I was going to drop my son to his bus stand, they pounced upon my 9 year old son, fortunately our neighbours saved him. I request you to kindly take an immediate and stern action to remove these stray dogs.

My name is Kousthubh Parab, a resident of ESTEP Nagar in Dahisar West, C-401, Dahisar Village, Dahisar (West), Mumbai-400068.

I'm writing this letter to you on behalf of the residents of ESTEP Nagar in Dahisar West. In our area and in our building compound, 4 to 5 stray dogs have been staying from the past one month and they have been barking on any person who enters the premises, including myself and the residents and come near to bite us.
This problem always occurs when I go out to buy something, or go to my workplace in the morning and when I return.
Especially at night these dogs just come running behind you in a group and are almost about to bite.

It's my humble and kind request to you to please pay attention on my letter and send Dog catcher team immediately in this area so that we can get rid of this problem soon.

Dear Sir, I would like to make a complaint about the street dogs in our area which have been causing great nuisance to all the residents in Ramalingam Street, MGR Nagar, Anakaputhur, Chennai - 600 070. There are about 12-15 dogs who start chasing small children as well as adults and they keep barking through the entire night. So please i very much request you humbly to get rid of these dogs by some efficient means. . Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

During nights the dogs engage in bitter fights over territory and we are
not able to sleep peacefully even for a few hours.PeoplE returning home
late live in fear of these dogs. They are increasing in numbers by
giving birth to new borns.

We are facing a fear for our self and our children due to the Stray Dogs
in our locality who are increasing in numbers day by day, approximately
05 stray dogs are here and charge at moving vehicles and kids playing
in the park. Yesterday my daughter was bitten by a dog and we had to
get treatment done for him.

Please take some action against controlling the outburst of the stray dog population in the area

Stray Dogs — Stray Dogs causing serious bite threats

Many street dogs in our nearby areas (I suppose all areas of Bangalore esp suburbs) which keeps barking at you for no reason and some even come to snap your fingers (jumps and tries to bite off fingers as you walk by). So for the last many years in Bangalore, I don't go out after 9 PM anywhere - never go to places other than main roads even other times! Now dogs are, day by day increasing, new dogs coming out every time and filling all streets to their own making it impossible to venture out in the home street also. What to do - just think that 'cos these dogs likes your fingers and give it as snacks and walk like a leper? Many times, just missed fingers in inches by its teeth!!! Some corporation authorized officials should collect them and fence them up or give it to animal lovers for raising them - normal people don't want them to munch off their fingers or body parts. I live in a highway side in the suburbs of Bangalore, India. I've a dog in my home adopted from street and another poor one comes to sleep in the building at night. I try to give them any food I can. I do love dogs like any other animal. But for no reason when they want to bite me, someone at least tell me what to do? This is a serious problem all over the country and needs urgent action everywhere. What to do? These authorities and dog-lovers travel in cars and never get to understand normal issues. DOGS RULE ALL STREETS AND HAVE LICENSE TO EVEN MAIM AND KILL AT NIGHTS It's high time - raise up and do make it a non-dog ruled city In Bangalore I believe there will be at least 5+ dogs per human being and multiplying fast!
