Dear Sulekha.com,

I have got acomplain againest the above subject company, I do not know if it is the same one that i want to complain because I came to know that there are two location of same companies, I was cheated by the company in construction works, I strongly urge to investigate that type of frauds to curb the fradulents who are not in company but making an immage in clients mind as if very big company which turns out as fraud . I do not know who has given 5 stars to such kind of worst services which I experienced.

Arjun Joseph tried to scam me out of $750. He claimed to have a room in New York City. Advertised as all inclusive rent. However, when I asked to meet him he said that he was taking care of his sick father in Pensylvania.

He then said there was no way to pay him other than Apple Pay. And Apple Pay gave us a Fraud warning.

It is clear from online that he has done this scam before on many people. Do not ever rent apartments from this person.

Dear Sulekha, i did raised couple of complains on the same user and i see little effort from Sulekha to enforce scammers, i raised another complaint that same user started using differnt name and posted the same adverstertment.

I request to sulekha pause my account for some days. then they pause my account and again they on my account without informing me and after balance is over then call me and said your balance is zero. even there exucutive said we will do 1 top up of 1500 rs but they are not doing. and now they said topup newly. those all process done behind me and without informing me. so i want my money return with topup. they cheat with me.

I came in contact with a maid providing agency " Meer Enterprises" through your platform (Sulekha) and confirmed a maid with them with a booking amount of Rs 5000/- as they promised to send the maid the next day. However the next day they didnt answer any call and later blocked all our contact numbers

Today, I got an email in response to my enquiry about a rental apartment in Boston listed at Indianroommaters.Sulekha.com. He addressed himself as Arun Joseph. When I said him that I wanted to meet him in person before finalizing the deal, he replied that his father is sick and he is currently living in Pennsylvania, and he will come back to Boston only at the Weekend. When I told him that it's fine and I will meet you at the Weekend and pay you at the same time at his apartment, he said that he can not guarantee to meet if the room is already taken by someone else.

When I asked for his government ID, he quickly sent me his California State driving license (Name: Arjun Joseph, Number: F4293209 Exp: 01/26/2025, Address: 953 Helen Avenue Sunnyvale, CA, 94086, DOB: 08/31/1988), which made me more suspicious about him. Usually, people don't share government IDs so quickly (within 5-10 mins conversation). When I searched online "Arjun Joseph, California", I came to know that many people (below are the links) have already been victims of such scams, probably by the same person.

I am not coming to Sulekha again. and also request not to use Sulekha as its supporting scammers even after multiple complaints, they are very slow to react.

I request Sulekha to these issues seriously, else their credibility is under threat. People will soon lose their trust if they dont block such people.

I raised inquiry for deep cleaning of my flat in Pune, the person named Ajay Singh called me for cleaning, I trusted him and gave him contract of cleaning. Later he started demanding money for giving back the keys to me.
His mobile number is +91-[protected] and +91-[protected]. He stole few things from the existing Flat as well.
I am attaching his ID card which he shared with me as confirmation of authenticity.
He should be banned from providing service.
