[Resolved]  Sunflame Enterprises — sunflame glass top broken

I have been using a sunflame toughened glass top 3 burner gas stove. While we were cooking the so called ‘toughened glass’ broke with a blasting noise and just shattered all over the platform. It was very scary.in the first case, i fail to understand how can a toughened glass break this way.

I called up the dealer and registered a complaint last thursday 7th sep 2017 (Complaint no. 25318484/83/82). I have been following up with the dealer and sunflame service center. Until now nobody has even come for an inspection. All i am being told is that they are awaiting an approval (My gas stove has a 2 year warranty). Is this the way sunflame’s customer service works? I even told them that i will pay for the replacement of glass if you don’t have the approval as its very risky to cook with the gas being in this condition. But no outcome yet!

I am tired and completely distressed with the way things have shaped. This is really disappointing how the staff has treated this complaint. I was expecting the glass to be replaced within 2 days, now it has been more than 5 days and still there is no proper response. I have told them over and over again, made about 10 to 15 calls each day. I was even ready to pay for the glass if they don’t want to do it free of charge. But yet no response. They just keep delaying the response.

We have not been able to cook for the past 5 days and i have tried explaining this to the service center.
Since saturday, they have been telling me that they will send a technician to replace the glass. Whole of saturday and monday i have been following up, but in vain.
I regret i purchased a sunflame product and am sure will never ever go for it again or even recommend any one to purchase a sunflame product.
