I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding a highly distressing incident that occurred with my recent food order.
I had placed a prepaid order for delivery to my correct address: House No. 7, First Floor. However, the delivery executive wrongly delivered my order to House No. 1, First Floor and falsely marked the order as "Delivered" on the app.
The delivery executive never called me to confirm my location or to inform me that he had delivered the order to the wrong address. Because of this negligence, a serious dispute took place at House No. 1. I had to personally go downstairs to resolve the situation. By the time I reached there, the food had already been thrown away, and I lost both my order and the money I had already paid.
The situation became so serious that police had to be called. I also incurred expenses during the incident, for which I seek appropriate consideration.
To make matters worse, when I contacted Swiggy Customer Support, my calls were disconnected three times. On the fourth attempt, the customer support executive behaved in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Despite my repeated requests to speak with a senior representative, he laughed, ignored my request, and disconnected the call.
This entire experience has caused me financial loss, mental harassment, inconvenience, and serious safety concerns. As a woman, such incidents put my personal safety at risk. Despite providing the correct address and voice instructions, your delivery executives repeatedly fail to follow delivery instructions, enter the wrong premises, and do not even attempt to contact customers before marking orders as delivered.
I therefore request that Swiggy:
Return my paid amount and amount that I paid to policeman 1000 bucks . Total amount 1000 plus 180 for food
I feel threatened, their delivery guys always create a scene . Sending you a court notice in a week's time
