Same here. I too did not receive tickets. I dont know whats wrong with these guys.
DLF IPL and Ticketgenie both are included in this scam.

Anyone else facing the same issue ?

Hi All,
Even I had booked the Tickets for April 10th match between RCB abd KKR.
I had booked the 220 Rs tickets online on March 10th and did not receive the tickets through Courier till now.

So I tried calling the[protected] and also sent email to the [protected]@ticketgenie.
The phone no. was always busy are not connecting.
Finally I got a call from ticketgenie, someone by name Shubam called and he said that I will not be getting the tickets as they dont have the tickets available.

I do have the order no. and the ticket no.s, which were given after booking the tickets online.
Shubam said that he could not find my order no. in the list of couriered tickets nor in the list of refunds as well.

He is saying that he can just provide the information he has and cant do anything to get the tickets for me.
I asked to talk to his manager, he denied saying that there are no managers available now.
I asked his manager's name, he said its Roopesh. I had seen a complaint with Roopesh's no. [protected].
I tried calling him multiple times, but he didnt pickup the phone.
Shubam asked me to come to the office and talk to the manager and see if they can do something.
I stay almost 25Kms away from their office and it will not be possible for me to go there now.
Their office address is:

I will go there in the morning tomorrow and see what they can do.

This is one of my worst experiences and i dont think, we shall be trusting the online booking anymore.
These people are not organised at all to handle such situations. If the tickets are not available, then how did I get the Order no. and the ticket no.s, I think probably they sell them in Black for more money.

We should lodge a complaint again such Frauds.

I am facing the same problem..Till now i haven't got any courier information or tickets.Just 1 more day to go..I booked it long back.Wat to do..all their contact numbers are either busy or not picking up..They are not replying to the mails also..I have the order number and the ticket number..wat to with those??

Same match RCB vs KKR. 5 tickets for 550 each. No response from them. Planning to go to their office tomorrow

Same here... I have not received the tickets either for the RCB vs DC and RCB vs KKR matches. I got a reply from info.ticketgenie.com about the non delivery of tickets for RCB vs DC match that due to security reasons my tickets are cancleeled and on my mail they responded saying that they could not send tickets because of over selling by their site.

For the non delivery of tickets for RCB vs KKR match, i have mailed them many a times as well as attempted to call them, but in vain :(

I am planning to lodge a police complaint and launch a case at consumer court on TicketGenie, as well as RCB franchisee and IPL

If they cannot deliver tickets why should they take advance amount through credit cards. This is a big scam which needs to be addressed. Right time to boycott IPL or stop TicketGenie from such frauds

Same problem here...I have booked my ticket for final before 10 days...Now I doubt that they will send me the tickets...no response from them on mail, no body answers the call...and they have nicely debited the money from my account...

Even I have booked tickets for the final match. I have booked 10 tickets, have the order number and ticket number. But these people don't respond to any email or phone calls. Their phones are always busy.
Not sure if I will get the tickets.

I stay in Mumbai hence cannot even travel to their office. Big scam by IPL. I think they should take care of this.

Same has happened to me.. I had booked tickets on march 5th for RCB vs KKR match at bangalore on april 10th.. they sent a regret mail saying tickets are overbooked.. on march 5th itself i had booked for RCB vs MI match at bangalore on april 17th.. so far i have neither received their regret mail nor the tickets.. They havent replied to my repeated mails also.. What must i do? is this the way ticketgenie should behave? I wonder why IPL chose ticketgenie as their online booking portal! I know Mr.Modi personally, so will ask him to take necessary action

Same is the case with me. After registering the complaint on their helpline number, I even got a confirmation call saying that money will be refunded within 7 days, but still it has been more than 3 weeks now and no refund, they are not even replying to emails and no answer on phone.

The money was deducted but the ticket was not booked.
After registering the complaints via email, they haven't replied yet...and no answers to phone even...

I've booked my 4 IPL tickets for Rs. 450 each on March 12th for the match on March 20th in Ahmedabad. I've choose courier for the delivery of the tickets. I got message on my mobile for ticket booking confirmation but still i've not received the tickets. Just 1 day left for the game. Please look into the matter and let us have the details as to which courier it was sent through etc.

Yesterday i received a packet from Blue dart for the 1st transaction but it had only 5 tickets instead of 6.I called Blue Dart, who say that problem is from ticket genie's side.The Idiotic ticket genie people neither pick my call nor respond to the mail.The 2 tickets for the 2nd transaction have not come at all.I dont know what to do or whom to approach for the 3 ticket of mine.There is noone to help me out on this.

I have the same problem. Have'nt got the tickets for Bangalore/Chennai match yet.
If you're in Bangalore I would suggest you visit thier office once.

Guys Please join us as I have seen a bunch of complaints about the Ticketgenie people. They are not at all taking any responsibility and just making us fool while printing a good money for them. It is ultimately we, the end consumer, who are facing the problem. I am also one of those who booked the tickets but didn't get it and when I try to connect to the customer care there is off-course no response.

If any official from Consumer Forum reads this complaint, I would like to request him/her to take the necessary legal action against the Ticketgenie.in/ as in my opinion this is direct mental harassment to the consumer from Ticketgenie side.

I also tried booking tickets via this site and page cannot be displayed error was displayed after i gave my credit card details, money got deducted. I called them up and they told me, i will get the money in 7 days. I tried booking on 05 march, and still havent got my money back. I am being duped for 3060 bucks.

I have the same problem...for the match on the 20th in Mumbai. Still waiting. The email and phone problem is ridiculous! I've been trying to call since the past 3 days and I've sent mails to all the given adddresses.

I do have the same problem, I have booked the ticket online and tickets are not yet recieved, there is no response from Ticketgenie. As you told we need to sue these guys. I think we need to write to IPL Chairman Mr Modi on this, as they have selected Ticketgenie as ticketing agency. The email ID of chairman is [protected]@iplt20.com. Litterally I have wasted my weekend for following up with these guys and there is no response from them. I think we need to teach lesson to these guys.

For Mumbai tickets booked from ticektgenie please call on [protected]. The guy's name is Abhijeet. He is pretty efficient i would say. Called him on monday and again today. He gave me the waybill number for blue dart and i have got tickets this afternoon.

Have found a number of Mr. Rupesh who I was told is the head of the Of Ticketgenie.com
His no. is [protected]
He should be able to give nos. of respective cities.

I wanted to bring this to your notice that I had purchased two tickets for IPL match to be played on 18th March, 2010 from Ticketgenie.in/ website which is supposed to be official ticketing website for IPL. I purchased the tickets on 8th March, 2010 and was told that it would reach to me at least 3 days prior to the date of match and I will be updated with the courier details.
My worry and complaint is that I haven't received the tickets or any courier details yet. I am forced to write this mail to you because there customer care number which they provided is non operational and also there is no response for the email enquiry. So in short I have not any option to contact Ticketgenie guys and I haven't received the tickets yet.

Please help me in this regard as this is really very annoying situation to me.

Even I have not received the tickets. I chose the Courier option and the tickets have not yet been delivered even though the match is on 17th March. Also I booked the tickets some one month back

with many trials i got this phone number for delhi [protected]. she is handling delhi dispatch. but most of the time this damn number is also busy. ticketgenie is fraud. they don't reply to email and their phone is always busy. try you luck. i have instructed my bank to undo and block the transaction.

i had booked total 9 tickets, first 6 than 3 for the match to be held on 16th march in BANGALORE, an dopted to pick it up from the swstik vodafone store, but have received only 6 of them and the other three tickets nothing. the confirmation no:185034. please do let me know, wat u r going to do about it.

I had booked 4 tickets for 13th March match and paid charges for courier as well, it was told that tickets will be dispatched before three days of match how ever no tickets recieved. when i sent to Braborn stadium with my family there was nobody from agency niethet IPL. we all were very much disappointed and had mental trauma. I dialed the number given more than 500 times and wrote many mails but no response. This is a cheating and fruad to people money question is how can IPL allow such agencies.

I feel we all should get together and file a fraud case and get compensation for mental trauma and other sufferings.

On 28.02.2010, I booked 4 tickets @Rs. 550/- each =2100/- through IPL T20 site for the match Delhi daredevils Vs RC Bangalore 27th March, which redirected me to Ticketgenie.in site. My booking ref. number is 82308:124428,124429,124430 and 124431. I booked ticket for 27th march as it was weekly off for me and i can go and watch the match.I selected the option of delivering tickets thru courier for which i paid Rs. 60/- as courier charges at ticketgenie site. Then i came to know thru newspaper that the match is rescheduled to march 25th 4:00pm , now 25th being working day , i cannot attend the match I tried calling their[protected] and[protected] but the number always seems to be busy, not albe to talk to them, i emailed them 3 times since 14th march telling that i cannot see the match, but no reply from their side on the mail . Also as tickets are not sent to me i cannot go and watch if i somehow manage to do so also,also as tickets are not with me noone from my family/friends can go and watch, please help me in getting my tickets or else in getting my refund of money.....as matter of escalation i also emailed to [protected]@ticketgenie.in, but no reply from their side, now i don't know whom to contact, i feel i am cheated by these ticketgenie people....

Ticketgenie fraud.

I booked two tickets for Mar 27th (RCB Vs DD) which has got preponed to Mar25th because of BBMP elections. I requested a refund last time when I was able to get through (with great difficulty after trying multiple times at[protected] but was refused, I was told that I will receive the tickets 3 days prior but I haven't received anything yet. Reading the postings I am not sure if I will receive the tickets. Now I am not able to talk to anybody at ticketgenie at the same number..? Not sure what to do.

I am in exactly the same situation, no response from them at all on emails, phone lines are always busy, match is on 25-March and I have paid them in full approx 1 month back. I feel cheated, no clue whom to contact now.

I am in a serious mood to file a complaint against these in the consumer court. I had booked tickets for the IPL match on the 25th between Delhi and Bangalore and have not got any reponse about the same from these . The neither reply to mails nor pick up the telephone. A bunch of bloody . I would have loved to abuse them more but being a public forum i am just controlling my emotions. If anyone is seriously considering them to take them to the court for cauing mental agony please do mail me back.

Same for me. In Bangalore march 27 match was prepond to 25. Intially i got mail imforming me if i want i can get my money back. I wrote them mail asking for refund. That day and today they are not recieving calls nor replying to mails.

I also booked tickets for Mar 27th but with the change of schedule to Mar 25th was asking for a refund since the first week of March, sent multiple emails(info, operation, [protected]@ticketgenie.in) tried to call various numbers- "helpline"[protected] and 42579821. Finally today, on the day of the match (Mar 25th)!, I got a call from Ticketgenie 42579809 that I could get a refund in 7-10 days if I don't receive/take the tickets when the courier guy came with the tickets. Finally, at noon, he did come with the tickets (for the 4PM match, what a joke!, I had done the online book around 10th of Feb). So as we advised by the Ticketgenie person I did not take the tickets from him and am hoping will receive the refund as promised by them...hopefully I have not lost both my tickets and money.

Continuing to my post above, I would like to mention what happened on 18th. After numerous calls and waiting periods, i finally got a number from ticket genie ( guy1) and they said that contact this guy(guy2) at the stadium and he will give me my remaining 3 tickets.When i contacted him, he denied.After 30 mins of talks he gave me a number of another person(guy3) who was supposed to meet me at gate no 5 to give me the tickets.He kept me waiting for more than 2 hrs at the gate when he finally picked the call to say that he has used to the tickets and was sitting confortably inside the stadium.When i lost temper and abused, he gave me a number & said that guy(guy4) would meet me in 5 mins & give me the tickets.When i call this guy4, he gives me the phone number of guy1 again.Guy2 who was the politest of all was willing to listen & help.He somehow managed to get 3 tickets for me of some other stand.I went with my family but ended up sitting seperate and missed first 6 overs of the match also

Am another victim of this site!! But with all these complains on so many sites/forums why their site is still up?? should we need to complain to cyber crime to get this site down??

Now, to my surprise when I call them they are saying my tickets are cancelled !!! they can't provide me the tickets. I feel cheated, humiliated ….what should I tell my son !!!…. no clue whom to contact now. I have sent them email, no reply.

Even I have booked tockets through Book my Show on 6th March 2009 for 19th March match. we have been given assurance that we will get it by 15th March but have not received it so far.

The good news is I managed to get my tickets just a couple of hours ago - delivered by courier. So you all should be alright.

Goog news for me also, I just got the tickets by blue dart courier for tomorrow match Delhi vs Mumbai.

Though I booked on 9th Mar and very difficult to get ticketgenine helpdesk nos...
I lost hope of getting the same, ... but at last got the same...

I'm facing the same problem.
I have given a feedback on the IPLt20 site. I would suggest you guys also do the same. IPL should stop endorsing them straightaway.

I have booked 2 nos. of tickets for a match on March 20, 2010 (Mumbai Indians v/s Royal Challengers, Venue:Mumbai) 3 weeks ago. 

As conveyed by your customer care executive the tickets will be available atleast 3 days prior to the match due date. But the same are not yet delivered.

Also, any and all attempts to contact TicketGenie are fruitless. Further, no response from their contact nos. [protected] or their customer support no.[protected] and no response to e-mails sent to [protected]@ticketgenie.in and [protected]@ticketgenie.in

I had booked tickets for the IPL match on the 25th between Delhi and Bangalore and have not got any reponse about the same from these . The neither reply to mails nor pick up the telephone. A bunch of bloody . I would have loved to abuse them more but being a public forum i am just controlling my emotions. If anyone is seriously considering them to take them to the court for cauing mental agony please do mail me back.

The best way to book tickets is through Bookmyshow. One have the option to pay once the tickets are delivered at your door step.

the who are selling the ticket in chinnaswamy stadium bangalore use to sale the ticket for the blacker not for the audience they had sell the tickets of 8, 10 and 17 in advance. when we had gone to stadium to buy the ticket they use to tell that the tickets are not available when we move forward the blacker call me and use to sell the ticket of Rs 220 to 500 i request this organiser to take some action please or else i m going to take some action.

I have booked ticket online for 10th April match in Bangalore. When I went to collect my ticket at Chinnaswamy stadium, they denied me tickets. They told 2 vague reasons which even they are not sure:

1> The money doesnot got credited from your account to ticketgenie account (i already got my credit card statement stating money deducted)
2> They have sold more tickets than capacity ... hence they are now cancelling few tickets (I got seat number while booking tickets.. how on earth they can book same seat twice or may be more than that)

These guys are cheater for sure ... I will now book a police complaint against these guys ...

I have booked 6 tickets for ipl 10th April match and have chosen the option as courier. i get a confirmation in sms and mail the same.it was clearly mentioned in the mail ticket will be dispatched max by 3 days before the event.

We have sent mail to the customer care but no response.even we tried for the customer care number no one was picking the call up, but suddenly one day one person picked the call and give an assurance saying that definitely ticket will be dispatched before 3 days with 100% assistance.

Now today, 8th April they are telling that it is in pending status, tickets were taken by local authority, sometimes they are telling due to software problem it has accepted wrong tickets.now they are telling that only 2 options are available, either refund or 1100 tickets.

They are entirely fraud because it is clear that some officials inside the ticketgenie are involved in wrong activities.Please make thos aas aware and never book online thrugh this site

Calls on their hotline number and e-mails have gone unanswered.

After lot of perseverence and threatening ticketgenie people on mail (phone never picked) to move the case into consumer courts they relented and gave us the tickets. But there is certain something fishy in their dealings.I shall recommend not to buy tickets from them.

On Feb 27, 2010, I purchased tickets from the ticketgenie website for the IPL match on March 27th to be held at Bangalore. However, I received an email from Ticketgenie on March 12th saying the match was advanced to March 24th due to BBMP elections and we can opt for refund of tickets (to be done withint 7 days of receiving an email request) or go to the match on 24th.

I sent them a request for redemption on March 15th. I did not get any acknowledgement. I re-sent the email on March 16th, explicitly asking for an acknowledgement for my email. I did not egt any response from them. Since then, I have escalated this to their grievance cell ans heard no response form them also.

On March 17th, I was lucky enough to get some one on the phone at the call center who started noting down the details of my booking. She said that she will pass this on to her customer care. I told her that I had already sent the email with all etails pertaining to the refund and why was she asking me questions as if the email was not received. She reassured me that the refund will happen in 15 days. My worry is this - 15 days will be over on Wednesday and the match is due on Thursday. Any suggestions on who I can meet in person for this refund? - Ticket Genie office? Chinnaswamy Stadium?

I agree. i had booked tickets for 27th Match RC vs DD which has been pre-poned to 24th March. I have been mailing and trying to contact Ticket genie on the number they provided on the website, and it is never reachable. The sad part is they recently send out a large mail chain to a bunch of people stating that the match has been moved to another date.
They never mentioned when they will refund the money and the refund procedure. How do they refund the money after the match is over. Its sad that ticktgenie is very disorganized.

I have booked two tickets for Rs 1200/- each on 15th Feb'2010 for the IPL match on 1st Apr'10 at Kolkata and the order no given to me was 22164, I have sent several emails but I was responded only once stating "Thank you for contacting www.ticketgenie.in . For the courier option you will get the tickets 3 days before the event. Once the courier gets dispatched we will provide you the airway bill number to track your courier".

I booked a ticket for a mach which was suposed to happen on April 8 in banagalore. I didnt get my ticket and i conatcted some one from ticket genie and he told that the ticket got cancelled and the money will be credited within two weeks and till now i have no update on this. Call is not going to ur hotline number at all, this is pakka cheating in day light. I will move to court if there is no response from you.

I made the payment on 3 Mar 2010. Amount was deducted.

With great difficulty I was able to connect to the customer care. They told me that the transaction would be reversed in a day or two. But now it has been 15 days and I havent heard from them.

I am having the same problem as Yusuf had. I had booked 12 tickets for the MI VS DC match on 28th march in 2 transaction. I got 6 tickets in 1 packet & 5 tickets in the other. I have been trying to get in touch with ticketgenie on their call center no & even on their corporate office no. Both no are not responding to the calls.

These cheats dont know how to handle online booking. Bookmyshow is a much better website.

Finally, at noon, he did come with the tickets (for the 4PM match, what a joke!, I had done the online book around 10th of Feb). So as we advised by the Ticketgenie person I did not take the tickets from him and am hoping will receive the refund as promised by them...hopefully I have not lost both my tickets and money.

After numerous calls and waiting periods, i finally got a number from ticket genie ( guy1) and they said that contact this guy(guy2) at the stadium and he will give me my remaining 3 tickets.When i contacted him, he denied.After 30 mins of talks he gave me a number of another person(guy3) who was supposed to meet me at gate no 5 to give me the tickets.He kept me waiting for more than 2 hrs at the gate when he finally picked the call to say that he has used to the tickets and was sitting confortably inside the stadium.When i lost temper and abused, he gave me a number & said that guy(guy4) would meet me in 5 mins & give me the tickets.When i call this guy4, he gives me the phone number of guy1 again.Guy2 who was the politest of all was willing to listen & help.He somehow managed to get 3 tickets for me of some other stand.I went with my family but ended up sitting seperate and missed first 6 overs of the match also

When i produced the e-tickets in replacement for the entry ticket, to my surprise they said my ticket has been cancelled. This is very disappointing because i have the booking confirmation and my credit card statement says very clearly that the money is through. They are unable to give me any confirmation on paper saying that my ticket is cancelled by them. This us unbelievable. The laws of our government are so relaxed that these guys are able to do such things and still get away. Iam not sure whats going to happen to my money.
