[Resolved] Tikona — fraud legal harassment | |||
I have just received a call from some lady priyanka who said she is from cibil court in delhi asking me to pay rs. 4112 towards pending charges. The connection i had subscribed to was asked to be terminated couple of years ago after which they offered us a retention plan of one year @ rs. 999. The connection initially taken by me was a billing connection to be paid 100% in advance without which service would not be available. My account no: [protected] In the first year end itself of the retention plan starting, i had called the customer care and asked them to close the connection as it hardly worked during the year. Still they kept on sending bills year on year and now am asked to pay 4112 as final closure charges and that too without providing any service or connection.in case of a connection where payment is to be made in advance, how can company charge for multiple years even if one assumes for a minute that i purposely didnt pay. Just sending invoices doesn't mean that they need to be paid. My usage reports are available as well the last date o[censored]sage. Also the date on which the outgoing on the connection was barred will also be available with tikona. I repeat: this was a billing connection where bill was generated and payment to be done in advance. So how can we use without paying? This is just looting the customers. It defies all logic. Finally I received a response from Tikona stating that they have checked and terminated my account and that the total amount receivable is "0"

I was slightly skeptical if I would actually get a proper settlement, but yes! It did come Tikona Digital Networks customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
