[Resolved] Tikona — mental torturing by advocates of tikona digital networks
Used Tikona services for 6 months in Bangalore
BAN –[protected] & Service ID – [protected]
During the 6 months services, many days the internet services were not working or working in the speed as per my plan. Hence decided to terminate the connection and told them to cancel the connection on September 04 and also mailed to customer care regarding the termination.
But customer care guys insisted me to hold the connection for UNKNOWN REASONS!
Post the 6 months period, I have used the connection for a month and I have duely paid for it. Post that period I haven't used my connection for a single day as I have opted for ACT services.
Now Tikona team is torturing me to pay Rs.1479 which includes Rs.700 as late payment charges.
Now Tikona employed advocate Neha sharma[protected] from Delhi Civil Court has called me and giving me mental torture to pay Rs.1479 or face the case in Delhi court . I have tried to explain her that I have proofs regarding my request to cancellation and requested her to verify whether I have used the internet in the foresaid one month period for which I have been charged for.
But she was arrogantly refused to listen to my concerns, and asked me to come to Delhi Civil court along with advocate to face the case.
As I am living in Bangalore, she is threatening me with legal consequences to be faced at Delhi. Being a consumer she is thinking I cannot raise my voice. All I am trying to say, consumer concerns and not being analysed here. How will I go to Delhi to explain Rs.800 has been charged for an unused period? How to explain Rs.700 has been charged as late payment inappropriately??
Can they say I have used the connection for a single day and haven't paid for it????? IF SO I AM READY TO PAY. For being honest and disconnecting the connection in time, these people are threatening me!!

Monthly bill charges will be applicable only till the next bill cycle date based on your last usage date or disconnection request date whichever is later.
As checked your disconnection request found on 13-Sep-17 and you have used the services till 4-Sep-17 hence last bills (15-Aug-17 to 14-Sep-17) of Rs.1, 379.77/- is payable for your account.
