Times Of India — cheating practices by newspaper vendors in bengaluru

Dear TOI Team, I wish to bring to your notice the indifferent behavior of the Newspaper Vendors/Agencies in Bangalore, specially in the Kudlu/Bomanahalli side. I had lived in cities like Lucknow, Pune, Gurgaon, but never got such bad experience as here in Bangalore. First Newspaper Vendors ask for Rs 200 - Rs 250 Advance for delivering newspaper in this area, which I am pretty sure is NOT PROMOTED by Times Of India Group. When I declined the advance Payment the Vendor REFUSED to deliver the newspaper at my doorstep. Please let me know if Advance Money payments instructions are issued from TOI Office.

Also they do not deliver the newspaper on Time, ideally newspapers are supposed to be delivered by 7am (or till 7:30 am IST) early morning time.

They skip delivering Newspapers couple of times in a month, which pretty much seems to be fishy. I notice that it is some days that I miss the newspaper, and at others my neighbors miss it.
These agencies also do not produce BILLS to us, and take payments at a fixed rate of 6.50 INR per day for the Month. I have been receiving Newspaper Bills from the respective agencies everywhere else, but this Place seems to be an exception.

SAVING Paper is something that we read so often, but the agency refuses to deliver me Newspaper only on weekends. I usually get to read the newspaper in office everyday, so I requested the agency to deliver the Newspaper only on Saturday and Sundays to me, to which the agency declined, stating that this way there is no earnings, if you want newspaper you will have to take it for full week!!

I am well aware that Newspaper can be read online also, but there's a different Charm in Reading the "PAPER Version".
