Toyota — Severe quality control failure or a structural manufacturing defect in tyre in newly Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder within 3 months

I am writing this complaint with a profound sense of shock, anger, and disappointment regarding a life-threatening incident involving my newly purchased Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, with Vehicle Registration No. DL9C BM 4392.
I purchased this vehicle just under three months ago, on 7th March 2026, from your Galaxy Toyota dealership of Regd. Office at Moti Nagar New Delhi, Branch Office Sector 20 Dwarka, New Delhi. Given Toyota’s global reputation for safety and quality, I trusted this vehicle to protect my family. However, on 31st May 2026, that trust was severely shattered.
While driving in normal city traffic near Nehru Place, New Delhi, the rear tyre on the passenger side (opposite the driving side) suddenly burst on the road.
My daughter and 13-year-old son was in the vehicle with me at the time. It is only by the grace of God and the fact that my daughter was driving at city speeds and able to maintain control of the vehicle and pull over safely on a highly congested road. Had this manufacturing defect manifested while we were driving at high speeds on a highway, the outcome would have been catastrophic and potentially fatal for my family and me.
A tyre on a brand-new vehicle bursting during routine city driving within less than 90 days of purchase points unmistakably to a severe quality control failure or a structural manufacturing defect in the supplied tyre. Tyres are a critical safety component; such a hazardous failure from a brand-new Toyota vehicle is completely unacceptable and negligent.
Through this email, I am formally requesting:
1. An immediate, complimentary replacement of the defective tyre.
2. A thorough technical inspection of the remaining three tyres by your service team to ensure they do not suffer from the same manufacturing batch defect.

Given the gravity of this incident and the risk posed to human life, I expect a swift response and resolution to this matter. Please confirm the receipt of this email and advice on the immediate next steps for the replacement.
