[Resolved]  Urban Company — Service not given properly and denial of service given at all when amount paid

I recently had a frustrating experience with Urban Company that I feel compelled to share. On the day of Rakhi, I scheduled a home service appointment. I provided the OTP to the professional, who inexplicably chose not to enter it in the Urban Clap app, resulting in no service being started.

Unaware of this issue, I left for Rakhi celebrations, handing over the payment to my gate guard for the professional. The next day, upon reviewing the service, I found it unsatisfactory and discovered that the booking had been rescheduled without my knowledge.

Dealing with Urban Company's customer service was a nightmare. Despite explaining the situation multiple times, all I was told was that the professional had been assigned but the work was never completed from their end. The response was dismissive, and the ticket was closed with no resolution.

I've never encountered such a careless and unprofessional service company. Both their staff and helpline have proven to be ineffective in resolving issues. I cannot recommend Urban Company based on my experience; they have demonstrated a lack of trustworthiness and reliability.
