I am writing to publicly log my grievance against Urban Company (UrbanClap Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) for a clear deficiency of service under Section 2(11) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
I purchased a brand-new flagship Native Water Purifier, which was installed on 17th September 2026. In less than a month of normal usage, the machine suffered a major component breakdown—the low-pressure switch failed completely, rendering the appliance useless while emitting a continuous, disruptive buzzing noise.
Despite the product being covered under Urban Company's widely advertised 2-year comprehensive warranty, their support team called me to verbally deny a full product replacement. This was immediately followed by a deceptive automated email loop claiming they "shared all relevant information" in a bad-faith attempt to artificially close the service thread on their end.
I have paid the full premium amount for a factory-sealed, functional asset, and I refuse to accept a patched-up repair on a manufacturing "lemon" product right out of the box.
Be advised that I have already filed an official government grievance with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs under National Consumer Helpline (NCH) Docket Number: 10367172. If a human corporate representative does not reach out today with a definitive delivery timeline for a brand-new replacement unit, I will be uploading our complete, highly unprofessional automated communication history as evidence on the e-Daakhil court portal to sue for a full refund, interest, and substantial compensation for mental agony and consumer harassment.
