I have submitted a request to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com to cancel my contractual obligation with vodafone through email on 22nd may 2014 & provide confirmation. The vodafone team emailed saying the Vodafone specialized team will call me asking reasons n all and they provided a reference number[protected] . I do got a call & explained them that i am fed up of the 3G services they provide & hence wish to port out from vodafone. They said they would be processing the request, but i got no confirmation from them. So I emailed again on 26th may 2014 & again the same reply i got that "The specialized vodafone team" will call me. This time with referenec no.[protected]. I received the call again & after explaining the issues to the person once again. They said they will process this now. I awaited confirmation or at least a response from them. Which they didn't provide. I called them back on 28th quoting the 2nd reference number. And it was only then when they told me that the reference number is updated with comment " The mail was not sent from a registered mail id". Whose responsibility is to mail me this information? I cannot dream of what comment has been updated for the reference number..!! Next.. I emailed them once again from my registered email id on 29th may 2014. But this time unlike the previous matter, they didn't even respond back. No " Specialized Vodafone team" this time? I was waiting & waiting for at least a mail response...!! So i called the customer care again today on 02 June 2014. Firstly they put me on hold & after 10 min of waiting they cut the call. Then i called again. They kept on transferring the call to some or the other department, but no body transferred the call to the correct incharge officer inspite of requesting 20 times. Finally some agent said that I have to re-send the mail again to get a reply..!!! Upon denying that & asking him to provide this in written communication, he gave me the that the mail which i sent for cancellation is "NOT IN THE CORRECT FORMAT..!! " Who the hell in the world would tell this to the customers..???? Where is the correct format described, What should be the subject line? When i asked the person to respond/reply all this back to me on email. He said he cannot email me this.!! I have to note down all this ..! These people simply provide such lame excuses to not to process your request...!! Finally I have emailed from my registered email id to close/shut down my vodafone number permanently..!! N that too in the format described by the agent on call..! Can you believe that?? I hope atleast now they process this request..!! Coz I am not going to pay any bill after the current billing cycle. They are "HAPPY TO HARRASS...!! instead of Happy To Help..!! Was this information helpful? |
