Vodafone — Dss pro mobile shield - insurance claim

I am a Vodafone postpaid user, and Vodafone provided free mobile insurance with the postpaid plan.

In an unfortunate event, my handset got broken (negligible crack on screen) and raised a insurance claim on 07 April 2019 so they picked up the handset from my location. Claim was approved (Inprincipal Approval) as a total loss on 23 Nov 2019 which I happily agreed and courier all accessories, bill, box, and documents requested.

I didn't heard back for more than 1 month. After 1 month, I got reply that my documents are incomplete, so I resent all the documents. Document verification again took so long, and my claim got approved for the final settlement (Rs.31500) on 19 Feb 2020. And from that day, I am still waiting for my payment. I have written several times to Vodafone customer care, their appellate authority, twitter and called several times but every effort went into vain and nothing happened.

In fact, I escalated the issue with Vodafone appellate authority and they promised to resolved the matter by 26th July 2020 and provided the complaint reference number (service request number is: 3-[protected]).

I am still waiting but in vain. Please help me to get my hard earned money.

I am still waiting for the payment. Whenever, I write to vodafone appellate authority, they simply reply that I'll get my payment at the end of month. Several months have already passed, but I am still waiting for the payment.

I am mentally harassed. Please help me.
