Vodafone India — billing fraud | |||
I was a vodafone telephone subscriber. My telephone number was and still is [protected]. I went to us in may-june of this year. Vodafone is turning on iroamfree service on customers phone travelling abroad without informing them and without seeking their approval. Customer is charged rs. 5500 even if the customer does not use his phone for calls or data. When the customer questions about these charges vodafone lies and makes up all kinds of stories to justify the charges without telling the truth. One vodafone employee himself admitted to this practice over the phone. This is not only completely unethical but in my view a very criminal behavior.
