Vodafone India — Billing issue | |||
This is with regards to bill generated on 25th February for number [protected] I travelled to Sri Lanka from 19th February to 22nd February. On 20th morning I activated the IROAM FREE package for 3 days for which the rentals are INR 500 per day. This request was placed through internet and I got a message in 10 minutes that the package is activated (screen shot of message attached). It also prompted to me use local service provided Dialog which I went to manual settings and did it immediately. On 21st afternoon I got a message from Vodafone saying my unbilled usage is INR 18000 which is more than my average usage, I immediately sent out a mail to Vodafone to check the issue and I got a revert saying that they cannot check now and I will have to wait till the bill is generated on 25th Feb. To be on safer side and not to increase my bill amount I again went to manual settings and selected local service provider Dialog. On 22nd I again got a message that the unbilled usage increased to INR 33000. On 25th once the bill was generated I saw that I was being charged at normal international roaming rates and not at the rates mentioned in the package that I had subscribed to. Since then I am writing to them on a daily basis but there is no revert. it is raised to highest authority but there is no response on the same. i want the amount to be reversed and to be charged only based on the package.
