Vodafone India — Bills generated for disconnected service and service restored without consumer consent | |||||
I had chosen data card connection with advance payment of rental plus tax(6000+1140) for six months in the month of May. But they have deactivated my service before completion of 6th month claiming that I have an outstanding balance to pay. Several times I walked into Vodafone store as well as I had conversation many times with customer care and no one is tracking the complaint properly. I was forced to pay the amount and I had strictly asked to disconnect the service. WRT to the complaint logged[protected], the excess amount charged should be refunded to me. And when I asked to refund it to my bank account the information I got is my number is activated since I have already paid the bill and hence they cannot reimburse money to my account. This is the second time incidence I faced from Vodafone sending unnecessary bills. Last time also they send court notice and made me pay unnecessary bills generated by ignoring the complaints logged regarding it. Last time they were charging etc Rs30-40 per bill claiming international SMSA charge which I have never availed and non one was tracking the complaints logged in a proper way and kept generating bills without considering the request for cancellation of connection.
