Vodafone India — complaint regarding false vas activation and customer care attitude

I have been using vodafone services since last 3 years with 3 different numbers.

This complaint is regarding my number -*. This is a postpaid conncetion with red 499/- plan.

Before describing my reason to write mail and lodge compalint, i request you to please visit my profile with you and check my usage and bill payments, call recordings (So that you might have an idea what i am experincing right now)

It has been nearly 10 months i have been using this number. During this period, there were some minor issues for which i have contacted your customer care and the issues has been resolved at the earliest.

But major problem arised with my november'2017 bill, for which my bill due amount was rs.1006.54/-.

Ideally, it should be rs. 499 + gst = rs. 588.82/- (No idea which calculator you guys use where it was 1006.54/-.)

I was both surprised and shocked to see the bill as because i use this number only for calling purpose that too for official purpose.

There is unlimited local + std calling mentioned in plan. So i was pretty sure, this wasn't charged for merely calling!

So i went through the bill for november (I don't check my bills normally, because i don't have time to). It was mentioned there in the bill that an amount of rs.354/- has been charged for using some vas services (I even don't know what the hell it is!)

Since then series of calling customer care, proving them that i have not used any vas and then waiting for their mercy in form of refund started.

Herein to mention, my last call experience where the guy kept on hold as most of the time he wasn't even responding to my queries/questions (As because football match which he and his fellow colleagues were watching was more important!)

I asked him several times, if he cannot solve my problem then either lodge a complain or provide me the mail id to do so. But according to him, my problem was not worth to lodge a complaint (I wonder which issues you consider as worthy)

While discussing this at office, i discovered that all of my colleagues (Who also use your services) are experiencing the same conditions.

To conclude, i want to inform you people that, we, the customers are not fools. We pay you through our hard earned money, that is why even a rupee is valuable to us. I will be paying only rs. 588.82/- for november bill and will not pay any penalty or carry forward amount.

As already informed to your employee, i am going to port my number very soon. Not only that, i promise you that will not suggest any friend or colleague to use vodafone.

And one more thing, deactivate any vas on my number. This is just another way of yours to fool people and collect money.
