Vodafone India — credit limit 2500 but charges 181797rs | |||||
I traveled to uk for work and got my international roaming activated 20/07. On arrival in uk on 22nd july i connected to vodafone uk and checked for data allowance in the vodafone app. It showed 23gb which was not present earlier as i had gotten my postpaid plan changed from 499 to 149rs. So i kept data pack on and consumed 270mb of 2g data by mistake. Now my credit limit is 2500 and i have been given a bill of 181797 rs and being threatened by vodafone officials to pay it. I also did not receive any confirmation about me credit limit being increased neither did i get any calls from them. But i did get a message which said some package of 500rs/day has been activated without my concern and i will be charged 500rs a day if i used this number. I started using uk number as soon as i arrived here. So officially i have used the vodafone india number only for 2days. I have told the officials i will not pay anything beyond my credit limit or double to limit since the cost of 270mb in both the countries is 100rs in india and 2-4£ in uk respectively hence i will not be paying anything more than that. I have not been contacted by vodafone india yet. They have only making rude and inappropriate calls to my parents asking for money. I am not paying anything to these Bas*****.
