I've been a Vodafone prepaid customer for the last 12 long years. On 14th July I opted for 25MB data pack on my smart phone for an amount of Rs 5/- deductible from my account. This time I had a prepaid balance of Rs 255/- in my account. The plan got activated at 1305 hrs (showing 3G instead of 2G). At 1311 hrs a msg arrived saying that 90% of the data already exhausted followed by another msg at the same time saying the plan already exhausted. I was switching off the data connection that a flash msg arrived saying that my remaining prepaid balance is only Rs 69/-. I was completely shocked. On contacting customer service centre, it's revealed that it was due to system fault that instead of 2G, 3G got activated and the amount can only be refunded with the approval of higher authorities.
Now within a span of 6 minutes a huge amount of Rs 186/- was deducted from my account due to fault at your end. For your knowledge I've not downloaded anything other than checking mails. So why should I suffer the loss.
I request you to kindly look into the matter and refund me the amount at the earliest without harassing me unnecessarily.
