Vodafone India — ** Discrepancy in billing - Unknown download charges added **

I'm with Vodafone network for nearly 6 years. I haven't faced or noticed this issue earlier. I'm in unlimited browsing plan - Rs 299. I've been charged Rs 296 extra in my billing cycle for data downloads which I've not used. I've raised a complaint[protected] for which I didn't receive any satisfactory answer from the customer care. I'm tracking my mobile data completely and I’m aware of the data which I use. The customer care only say that I’ve clicked some ad mistakenly. They are not able to give any further information from their end. I'm not so illiterate to go and click on some ads that would charge me. Please do not say that I’ve mistakenly clicked on the ad. Please clarify my below questions: In which site were these ads posted? Who is charging these ads (Vodafone or any third party)? You people say that they are the ads which website charge the service provider when clicked. I'm using BSNL landline for home browsing, (i use the same website which i use from my moblile) they didn't charge me a single penny extra for any such thing for the past 15 years, When none of them charge any such thing, why is that it's only for Vodafone making this charge? What are the services availed from these ads? What was actually downloaded? What was the size of the download? Can you give me sample site where i can see these ads which are chargeable? I've entirely googled the services which you’ve mentioned and i found no results for these. deals_mydala_99 wapvilla_ppd hello1_tvallsouth wapvilla_ppd I'm completely frustrated and disappointed. I haven't used the below listed websites or downloads. I haven't seen them so far when I’m browsing either. I need justification for my billing. It's a hard earned money and it is immoral to charge innocent people. I'm ready to pay my bill for what I’ve used (1022.35 - 296 = Rs 726.35) I’m struggling with Vodafone customer care for the past 4 days to get clarification for my billing. Apart from the mail complaint i've also raised a complaint with 198 and the complaint number is[protected]. I've escalated the issue with the floor supervisor and he have accepted a waive for Rs 200. However as i requested a full amount waive off he was not able to provide it. I'm expecting some justice from you. Please take necessary action. I'm not going to close this request until i get clarifications for all these. Thanks, Amala
