Vodafone is trying to steal money from its customers.
On December 18, 2014 vodafone mistakenly activated the 1599 RED plan for me, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Luckily i immediately noticed the error and requested a deactivation by visiting the vodafone store in Churchgate and making a complaint. I thought that was the end of the problem but in January, I still received a bill with charges of Rs. 1599 (Rental). Again I immediately called up Vodafone and spoke to representative Avdesh Singh (Lower Parel Centre) and made a complaint. He agreed that the plan had been activated again, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and that there was a billing error. He said the problem would be fixed within 2 days. Yet again i received a call from Vodafone asking if I wanted to deactivate the plan (When I had specifically request it be deactivated immediately during my complaint call) and telling me that I had requested the activation (WHEN I HAVE CLEARLY MADE NO SUCH REQUEST). They are fraudulently putting customers onto higher un-necessary plans and trying to cheat us.
