Vodafone India — Free minutes not received due to misleading recharge plans. | |||
On the 12th of August 2015, i had recharged an amout of Rs. 25 (for receiving a free talktime of 40 mins for local + std calls as mentioned in vodafone's official app downloaded from google playstore - attached screenshot) for my vodafone number, But on completion of the recharge instead of receiving the free minutes i had received an sms stating that my account was recharged with a talktime of Rs.19.43(screenshot attached). Now this was not helpful as i already had an adequate balance of more than 300 in my account (this recharge details can also be viewed in the screenshot). On talking to the customer care executive i was informed that this can happen sometimes as a particular amount can have different plans. My question is when i had recharged my number from the official app why should i be deprived for vodafone's inefficiency and secondly even if its for an amount of Rs.25 but still vodafone is making a ptogit by misguiding their customer. I demand either of the following in addition to whole of the cost of legal expeditures- 1) Talktime balance of Rs. 5.57 (25-19.43) 2) free 40 mins balance for local and std calls valid for 3days and deducyion of 19.43 from my account.
