Vodafone India — incorrect international roaming charges

I have been charged - rs 2000+ international roaming charges, while i have not answered a single call. I have been in the south pacific islands - papua new guinea for 2+ years now, i faced a similar issue with airtel and hence moved to vodafone, now i am getting ripped off by vodafone as well. Within the past week, i receive messages that i am nearing my credit of rs 3500, which is outrageous, when i use my phone only for receiving otp. This has happed to my brother also and no action has been taken. I am now browsing to lodge a complaint legally, as this is just unethical way of treating customers. Was this information helpful? Shame on you Vodafone. I ported out my number from Airtel because of the same issue, which was not resolved and now I receive the same treatment from you also. how do you justify, customer getting charged, when the phone is actually switched off! or sim is disabled. Oct 24, 2019 Updated by saimohan_1602 I have paid the outstanding for which I absolutely have no idea on whom the unanswered incoming calls were from, consumers like me have no choice but to succumb to exploits like this. what more can we do. It's very disappointing and and an abrupt ending to this complaint.
