Vodafone India Limited — Vodafone forcibly asking to continue their service, false promises, not listening to customer issues, making unauthorized calls

My Details: My Mumbai Vodafone mobile phone number:[protected] and Relationship number: 8.11607003.00.00.100059 Overdue amount : 2937.17 as on Jan-2014 Issue Summary: I approached to customer care to cancel my vodafone number as I am moving out of Mumbai. After sending so many emails since Jan 14, finally in Feb 14, Vodafone customer care member agreed to cancel the number after clearing the outstanding balance on 19th Feb 2014. What I have done: I cleared the amount on next working day 20th Feb 2014 and sent all the proofs to same person. After that he ( Rupesh Shetty, Assistant Manager, Collections) never replied back once Vodafone got the money even I sent reminders. Issue I faced with Vodafone: They started sending the bills from next month onwards since they didn't cancelled my number. I raised complaint here(c895755) then started responding but 1. They don't understand customer issues 2. They tried to divert the issue if they know that problem is from their side. 3. Vodafone is trying make me to continue the connection forcibly even customers doesn't like their service. 4. I told number of times not to call any number, but during activation of my number I gave reference numbers, Vodafone calling them and disturbing other people as well. 5. Vodafone is saying that they will give 500 credit and will adjust in next bill, that means they are expecting me to continue even though I don't need their service. 6. I experienced very poor response from customer service. They don't even read what am I saying. 7. Most importantly, no is one from Vodafone side is talking about the commitment they gave about my number cancellation on 19th Feb 2014. 8. Mentally I faced lot of disturbance because of Vodafone till now since Jan 14. I hope they solve all the issues and never repeat with other customers. Supporting documents: Attached to this complaint. 1. Commitment given by Vodafone to cancel once I cleared the balance on 19th Feb 2. Diverting the issue and making adjustment in next month bill eventhough I don't need service. Thanks, Venkat.
