[Resolved]  Vodafone India — plan change from postpaid to prepaid

I want to complaint about vodafone service. As i want to change my postpaid plan to prepaid.However due to incomplete information provided by your store representative, voda customer service, tele verification person and chat person, it's not done yet. Now they are saying that I have to pay 407 amount then only my request being accepted. I am not gonna pay single pany as it's not my fault.

I lived in Hazrat Nizamuddin, and your store is in Lajpat Nagar so, on 14th Jul, 2018 I visited your VODAFONE store at Lajpat Nagar, (Address: K-98, Ist Floor, Veer Sawakar Marg Lajpat Nagar-2, Opp. Golden Dragon, New Delhi VFSTORE, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi 110024) to change my POSTPAID PLAN TO PREPAID because from last 3months from when I change my number from my father name to my name they said I have to use PREPAID connection for 3months then onl I’ll be able to change frm POSTPAID TO PREPAID. So, after completing 3minths with POSTPAID plan I visited your store and after waiting approx 1Hr I was assisted by one girl I don’t know her name then she check my Aadhaar card and provide me one PREPAID SIM and told me after 72hrs it will be activated so, I asked should I need to call anywhere? She denied the same and said no the SIM will be activated after 72hrs. I said OK and then I leave the store. On same day 14th Jul, 2018 I receive a call from a guy who asked me why I want to change the plan so, I advise him I don’t want POSTPAID PLAN. He said ok so within 72hrs your new SIM will be activated and then you will change your SIM. Next day 15th Jul, 2018 I thought it was changed so, I change my SIM but it’s not working. Then I again call to your call center and some guy answer my call and he said request is under process and you have to wait for 72 hrs after that change your SIM and dial 590590 then you new SIM will be activated. Then on 16th Jul, 2018 at 16:19PM I received a message that that my POST-PAID TO PREPAID request is rejected due to an outstanding balance. I check same online however it shows 0.00 outstanding balance. I don’t have a time to call again on call center so, on 17th Jul, 2018 may be at 02AM I chat with one of your executive name NIXON. I ask him where is the outstanding balance so, he also said may due to an issue previously it shows however now there was no outstanding balance but I need to visit store again for same. Then on 17th Jul, 2018 I call you complain number 193 and spoke with Shishir when I asked him about outstanding payment so, he said you billing cycle was 23-23 so, as you register your query on 14th Jul, 2018 however whatever is the payment due from 23th Jun till 17th Jul 2018 you have to pay that firstly then only your request will be considered and I asked what is the amount so he said as per PLAN of INR 399.00 divide given by 23th Jun till 17th Jul 2018 multiply 18%GST so total approx INR 470.00 I need to pay. I told him previously no one advise this procedure not store person, not verification person, not that person whom I called on 15th Jul, 2018 and not even Chat person NIXON even he told no outstanding and you told me some other procedure. Shishir said mam this is the procedure only I told him that I am not gonna pay and if I want to PORT my network he said YES MA’AM you can do no apology nothing. Then last time on 18th Jul, 2018 I complaint through your website about the issue and then after one day I receive a call from your executive Ms Aparna Giri, I told her the entire story and told her that no one advise me about any procedure which Shishir advise as I paid my last bill on 11th Jul, 2018 and placed request on 14th Jul, 2018 so, how come I need to pay INR 470.00 again and I told her I am not gonna pay any single money and it’s your mistake as you didn’t advise me about same. She said she investigate the same and then she called me again and said they checking the store information. On 19thJul, 20418 she called me again and said she raised a complaint against store and I have no outstanding balance in my account but to change my PLAN I have to visit store again to get my PREPAID SIM. I told her as of now I don’t have time to visit as there is a long queue and it was far from my place so, whenever I was free from my official and other works then I visit the store she said OK but please carry your Aadhaar card I said OK. So, yesterday I was on off and I try to go store but due to heavy rainfall I was unable to go. And today I received a message about the VODAFONE bill of INR 471.11 and last date is 11th Aug, 2018. I just want to say that I am not gonna pay a single money. Either help me to or just say that you guys not gonna help me any more so, that I can take further steps I don’t have that much time to visit your store or talk with our agents regarding my issues again and again. Resolve it ASAP as I am not gonna pay any amount.
