I am Tushar Dhere who ported from Idea to Vodafone some days ago. Ihad two numbers ported out to Vodafone PrimaryIdea no - [protected]AndSecondaryIdea no [protected] Sincefew days I was receiving an auto generated voice message intimating me that my number will be deactivated as I have not paid my previous mobile operator’s(Idea) bill. Ihave paid the Idea bill on 14th Mar. Please note single bill usedto get generated for both primary and secondary number. Howeverafter clearing my Idea bill, Vodafone only started outgoing calls for myprimary no – [protected] only, whereas payment for BOTH the numbers was cleared.As secondary number was not mentioned on the Idea receipt, I went back to Ideabut they refused to give me another receipt for secondary no – [protected] andstated that Vodafone should have enabled outgoing calls for BOTH the numbers.However they provided handwritten confirmation on the back of the originalreceipt to confirm that payment for no – [protected] has also been cleared underref – CN93845237. (see attachment) Ivisited Vodafone store on Sinhagad Road again and spoke with Deepa Sonawane andrequested her to activate outgoing connection for no [protected], however sheinformed that hand written proof by Idea is not acceptable and asked me toemail me the old Idea bill details. Theproblem here is that Idea will requires a password to open the bill which is acombination of Idea account id and 4 letters of customer’s first name. As I amnow no longer an Idea customer, my account stands invalid and hence I cannotopen any old bill so I cannot provide these details to Vodafone. Meanwhilemy secondary no [protected] has now been blocked by Vodafone. Even incomingcalls are blocked. Pleaseadvise why Vodafone is not accepting the details provided by me and blockingthe number?
