[Resolved]  Vodafone India — regarding incorrect billing

The problem started when I was on my business tour abroad in the month of August 2019. I requested them to activate International Roaming services to my number so that I can get my OTPs and messages. While after some time i received several messages. One of the messages was correct for the activation of international roaming. While another message was surprising to me, it was for activation for iRoamFree Auto. I instantly informed Vodafone about the same. They assured me that it will not be levied in my bill.

Subsequent to this, I received the postpaid bill for the month of August. The charge of 599 is levied as One Time Charge for iRoamFree Auto. I made a complaint to Vodafone again and they said that the said amount will be adjusted in the next bill. As I was out of the country and don't want any trouble with the network provider, I paid the bill in full.

But, just to my surprise, they levied the same charge in the month of September also. I complain and they said that it will be resolved in 48 hours but hard luck no reply. Additionally, I requested them to discontinue my Internation Roaming Services as I returned on 25 September 2019.

For the bill of October 2019, when I already requested them to discontinue International Roaming Services. They had levied the charges of Rs. 149.

This thing is continuous with the bill of October, November and now December 2019.

I am fed up of this complaining ###.

I already requested for the portability to avoid further extra charges. But the portability will not reimburse me the extra charges levied by them.

I request you to take up the matter and get me reimbursed the extra amount paid by me.

For portability, i will be paying the bill of December in full but i need reimbursement.

The total claim is Rs. 1645 plus penalty of Rs. 10, 000 for my mental pain and stress are given by them.
