[Resolved] Vodafone India — Retention team makes false promise of offering same plan as Airtel | |||
Issue in short Airtel offers a very good rental plan of Rs.100, I send request for port out, Vodafone retention team calls and enquires why do I want to port out. I tell them about Airtel offer, they say we will offer the same plan don't port out I agree, now its more than 5 months of follow up, still Vodafone has not sorted the issue. Will share recent reply which I got from Vodafone and the questions which I'm asking them Dear Mr. Nagrani, We have received your email dated 29/11/2013 for your Vodafone Mobile Number [protected]. As mentioned earlier we reiterate that, we would not be in a position to activate the month rental plan of Rs. 100 as the same is currently not available with us. We also assure you that your feedback on your Vodafone service experience has been escalated to the concerned authorities. Our service personnel have been sensitized to your concern and we will do our utmost to prevent a reoccurrence of such an experience. In case you need further assistance, please do call or email us. We'll do our best to help you. Happy to help Ravi Takwale On behalf of Nidhi V Nodal Officer My reply Dear Mr. Takwale, Don't you think you sound like a broken record, repeating/reiterating the same thing again and again - that you don't have the Rs 100 rental plan. ANSWER MY QUESTION MR. TAKWALE 1. Why did retention team offer me same plan as Airtel's not once but TWICE? 2. Does the retention team represent Vodafone or not? 3. If they represent Vodafone, then Vodafone is going back on its word, so does the retention team represent Vodafone? 4. If you knew you could not offer me Rs. 100 plan, after FIVE MONTHS OF FOLLOWING UP, why did you ask me to get you a copy of Airtel plan? 5. Will Vodafone bear the expenses for the last 5 months in terms of additional rental paid by me for using Vodafone service instead of Airtel plan? Why don't you answer these questions instead of giving your PATENT reply that we cannot offer you the same plan as Airtel. And you escalating the issue to concerned authorities doesn't matter, will it solve my issue? NO IT WONT, SO DONT GIVE ME STANDARD PATHETIC REPLY - I'm sure you have a template of this mail in place which you send to aggrieved customers. SO ANSWER MY FIVE QUESTIONS. These all telecom companies are making fool of customers.. At the time of selling they should good offers but once you purchase it, they make your life misreable... TRAI should do about this...
