[Resolved] Vodafone India — Sim card activated without my confirmation | |||||
Hello, I have opted for Vodafone service, 5-6 months back. I contacted the agency in Nashik Road. The person collected the documents from me and told me that I will get the sim card in 2 days. After 2 days, when I didn't got any call from the executive, I called the agency. They didn't picked up my phone. On the same day, I called in afternoon. Then the person said he was in meeting. After the call, they said to me that I will get the sim following morning. I didn't received it. I called again. This time no one picked the phone. I then purchased another number. After that, some one from the agency called me and told me to collect the sim. I refused because I was in need of the sim urgently and the agency failed to deliver on the said time. After that I came to know that the sim has been activated. How can it get activated without me signing any form nor getting it delivered? Now the bills are coming and the executives at Vodafone are ringing me. Who is responsible for the bill payment? Me who has opted for the service or the company who has activated the sim without any signature of the customer and delivery of the card?
